About Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple
Not only one of the best places to see in Kanakapura, but also one of the most revered religious shrines in the region, Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple attracts hordes of tourists every day. Believed to be more than 150 years old, this ancient Hindu temple was designed by the architect of Bangalore, late Sri Kempegowda.
Though the major deity worshipped here is Anjaneya, other gods like Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganpati, Lord Rama, and Lord Vishnu are also worshipped here. The prominence of the temple in the entire state and its captivating Dravidian style architecture also makes it one of the best tourist places to visit in Kanakapura Road.
