About Speicherstadt

The Speicherstadt is a warehouse that was inaugurated on 29th October, by Emperor Wilhelm II when the first building had been completed. The construction then stopped due to world war 2 and was finished in 1927. The warehouse today has many activities and is home to the Miniatur Wunderland which has the world's largest miniature version of the railway station.

The warehouse is also home to Hamburg's international maritime museum, which has thousands of model ships and maps. Visit the Auto museum Prototyp in the warehouse which has over 70 years of prototypes from the automobile industry. Head over to the warehouse to explore all of these museums and then visit the Kaffeerösterei which is a coffee warehouse. You can taste fresh-roasted beans from all over the world and enjoy your coffee.
