Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, Shanghai

Located on the People’s Square, The Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center was opened in the year 2000 to display the achievements of the city construction and planning. This building serves various functions such as a centre for exhibition, research, communication, recreation, reference, and entertainment.

The main building displays the development of Shanghai from the historical times to the present and even some futuristic plans. This beautiful design of the building is inspired by the traditional Chinese city gates making it one of the most amazing places in Shanghai.
