Situated in the former royal palace, the Romanian National Art Museum is among the most visited places in Bucharest. This art museum is among some of the major places where visitors can explore the complete collection of Romanian art which includes several pieces from both the modern as well as medieval age. The museum has several halls that house about 10,0000 number of pieces weighing its walls, including many objects from the Royal collection of Romanian and European art dating back to the 15th century.

It also has a room dedicated to the renowned artist Constantin Brancusi, who is known to be one of the most influential sculptors in recent times. Visitors will get to admire the works of great artists from the past such as Theodor Aman, Nicolae Grigorescue among others. There is also a European gallery next door which has about 15 rooms with the works of El Greco, Monet and others on display.
