Kedar Kantha Trek is just about awesome. Here the snow is there till April. Thus we can take this tour even in Feb or March. I took this in Feb and it was awesome. Snow treks are fun, but they always seem costly. I got this through a deal and it was very affordable. The trek was out and out fun. The level of difficulty is moderate. As we keep going uphill, we feel very weird due to the changes in climate. yes the climate is really bad, it was really cold through out but worth doing it. if you like snow and cold a must do trek The river valley we encountered during this trek was brilliant.

Gorgeous landscapes just about everywhere! I would put on my headphones and get lost in them. So did i come back with loads of pictures and stories to tell ... not really! I came back after the first day not being able to face my initial fear of cold coupled with rain. But this journey and time of solitude, after a very long time, made me see myself much clearly without any noise. Some parts scary, some parts peaceful :) My journey inwards - A journey that I will always remember!

Trekking over 34 kms is not an easy task, even for professionals such as us. We had an absolutely amazing time during this trek and got to see the beautiful 3,850 ft mountain peak that really looked breathtaking. We engaged in river crossing as well during the trek, Wow! And trust me when I say you should carry enough winter protection, it can sometimes get really cold.

One of the most thrilling experience of my life. It's extremely cold at night so carry proper warmers. The feels like temperature can be way below what your actual readings might say. This was my 3rd Himalayan trek after markha and roopkund. A must do for adventure seekers.

I never knew that winter treks can be so amazing. I think the real fun of trekking is in winter trek. It was amazing and will stay in my memory forever. Just one request, please DON'T LITTER, and COLLECT YOUR OWN GARBAGE IN A BAG AND BRING IT BACK DOWN. Lets keep this place in its purest form.

I had an amazing trek i do have a piece of advice for future trekkers Carry warm clothes since it is very chilly and windy at night. A torch and good trek shoes or sport shoes are a must. Carry water bottles with you - at least 4-5 per head for the duration of the trek. You can refill water at 3 spots where you get clean mineral water flowing down from the mountains - till you reach the Base camp.

Me and my friend are very happy trekking this place but there is no shelter along the way and the mountain weather changes in an instant - better to be prepared for all eventualities. We stayed back at Mussourie on our trip back to catch up on much needed rest. All in all an experience in proving to ourselves we're still capable of undertaking treks :)! Best of luck to future trekkies ..

This is one of the most memorable treks i have ever trailed but start your descend early enough too because it'll quickly get hotter with decreasing altitude and rising Sun. PLEASE NOTE don't rush through the initial steep descend. There are good chances of getting lost. Make sure you're following the trail along with the guide for good secinic spots of kedarkantha.

The adventure staff briefed us pretty well about the trek when we were refreshing in a pit stop many have also started a new concept of village huts accommodation at night, which was warm & comforting please don't expect hotel like facilities in the wild, the local adventure staff works very hard even to provide food & shelter high up in the mountains.

Everything was managed pretty well. We started the trek from Pantwari but did not return from the same place . Rather we followed a circular itinerary & ended our trek at an awesome pllace In my opinion this was a better itinerary as the trail on the last day was amazingly beautiful.

The trek goes along a stone paths and you tend to slip where there are streams or little rivulets flowing in. Path from Pantwari to the base camp is riddled with ferns and bushes some of which our guide told are poisonous. So stay the course in the middle of the road as far as possible.
