What money should I bring?
Ah, the joys of Eastern Europe. Your guide will help you tackle the challenge of changing between Euros (Greece and Montenegro), Kuna (Croatia) and Leks (Albania). While the exchange can give you a brain freeze, it also brings you some of the great budget options for meals, drinks and souvenirs.
Will I get any free time?
There's a lot of ground to cover between Athens and Split and we'll make the most of every day, but each evening will be your own to explore the city or village you're staying in. Our knowledgeable staff will be able bring you to the best places to eat, drink or shop – but what you do with your evenings is up to you.
How does it work? When will my ferry leave? How will I get from the port to the hotel?
We take care of all the details for you. Meet your tour manager in Athens on your first night to hear the details of which ferries you'll be taking. We can't tell you in advance of your tour because we change our ferry schedule throughout the season to get you to the islands as fast as possible. If a new, faster ferry starts running in the region, we book that instead. If we hear rumours of a ferry strike or inclement weather, we'll take action to book the group on a new ferry. We also arrange for all transfers between the port and the hotel.
