Welcome to Paro! Upon your arrival at Paro Airport, head to the immigration office for your travel permit. Then, get driven to your hotel in Thimphu. Check in & spend the day at leisure. You can explore Ludrong Memorial Garden, featuring 50 species of native Bhutanese plants & herbs. Experience Bhutanese culture at Simply Bhutan & witness live demonstrations of traditional crafts. You can also relax in Deer Park, modeled after India’s Deer Park. Later, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Then, explore Tashichho Dzong, a stunning fortress housing government offices, & Simtokha Dzong, the oldest dzong in Bhutan. Later, you can shop for souvenirs at the Handicrafts Emporium before getting driven to your hotel.

Today, begin your journey at Ta Dzong, a watchtower that serves as a national museum. Next, visit Rinpung Dzong. Then, visit Tiger’s Nest parking lot, where your 7 km hike to the Taktsang Monastery. As you ascend through lush pine forests adorned with colorful prayer flags, take in the views of the Paro Valley. Upon arrival at the monastery, explore its prayer wheels, meditation caves, and intricate murals dedicated to Guru Rinpoche. Later, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
