LORDIS SQUARE

Originally known as Sampo Square, Lordi’s Square is one of the best known recreational places to visit in Rovaniemi. The place was renamed in the honor of the renowned Finnish rock music band, Lordi. This place receives a heavy influx of tourists and locals throughout the year and boasts an energetic atmosphere.

Many open-air events, folk parties, and live performances are held here from time to time. During the winter season, the entire place is lit up with sparkling Christmas lights, which sends in festive vibes to the whole city of Rovaniemi.
