Karchapeswarar Temple Overview
According to the legend, Lord Vishnu arrived at the location of the temple and offered his prayers to Lord Shiva in the form of a tortoise. A historic temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this temple is located close to the Kandakottam temple. Karchapeswarar Temple was built by the Pallavas and was later modified by the various Vijayanagar kings.

Timings: Monday to Sundar from 5 AM to 12 PM and 5 PM to 8 PM.
