About Farrukh Nagar Fort
Built in the year 1732 by the Mughal emperor Faujdar Khan, the Farrukhnagar fort is the quintessential Mughal structure, adorned by various designs dating back to the said era. Featuring an octagonal shape, the fort is also home to one of the most distinguished bastions in the country.
The fort was in ruins up until 2009, when some reconstruction was done to it by INTACH. Dubbed as the Dilli Darwaza, the fort is believed to have been home to over 4,000 people! One of the most popular tourist places in Gurgaon, a visit to the Farrukhnagar Fort is almost obligatory for patrons of architecture and designs.
