About Clarence Park
Clarence park is nestled at the location of one of the original castles in Wakefield and the highlight of this place is its restored bandstand and the pavilion with matching shelters. The bandstand hosts amazing live music performances with picturesque backgrounds and lush landscapes.
On the ground, visitors will also find a lodge and a steep hill which provide seating arrangements during performances at the bandstand. Each year a schedule of performances is created by the music collective and the city council which is equally enjoyed by locals as well as visitors. The park is just a 15-minute walk from the center of the city and along with Thornes Park and Holmfield Park, it makes Wakefield Park.
