Overall experience was good. The place is silent & well maintained .Got to know some interesting things about wine making, wine tasting , bottling process. Better to visit on week days than on weekends to avoid the crowd. The lunch was pretty decent & homely.

It's an amazing trip. I didn't expect it to be this good. The place is really green heaven on earth. The trek route is amazing. Very doable and not strenuous. The waterfalls and kayaking are high points. You will fall in love with Shimoga's Hills.

We had some great moments and of course gained some knowledge out of this wine tour. Thanks to the folks who have organized it well. The guide was very accommodating and noble at what she does. First of all, you will get a chance to learn making of wine from the scratch by way of the guide’s explanation about the process . Since it is off season the grape field was dry but still walking through the factory and spotting the live production is a great feel. The best moment of the tour is that when you enter inside the “Tasting Room “. The Gentleman here in this room gonna surprise you with the methods of drinking wine. I never realized that having wine is an art until I meet this Gentleman :-) You have got a chance to taste about 6 types of wines here. If you really wish to feel little high, right behind this room, you have a fabulous restaurant with some decent dishes along with your choice of wines . Oh ! yah, expense is on you because the restaurant is not part of the package ! The last but not least, you have also got a chance to bring out the wine stompers inside you . Overall, it was a great experience and I think it’s worth visiting this place at least once in your Bangalore life !!! --Jiji

Back to nature, away from the busy cities. If you are looking for luxuries and hi tech activates the cities can offer, then this is not the right place for a short stay. Instead if you love nature, fresh air, a peaceful and relaxed stay, campfire, a huge open lawn with enough games and courts to play, homely food, enough area to roam around the coffee plantations with friendly hosts, and a good night sleep in the tent, then this is the place. I stayed in Camp for two days and one night. One of the activities one can enjoy is trekking through the coffee plantation crossing small streams of water and mild terrain. The hosts are very helpful and take good care of the guests. I saw three families and also very small kids enjoying the stay. The place is suitable for all ages. The tents provided are of decent size and are in good conditions. Clean and comfortable beds with blankets are provided. Bathrooms are clean and enough in number with hot water facility. Nicely prepared homemade food is provided. Over all I enjoyed my stay, and look forward to go back again.

I had gone there all alone. Made 4 new friends and a good trekking plus additional water sports and we did swimming in the open lake for half an hour. Enjoyed it a lot. Looking forward to attend more treks in coming days.

It was an awesome location to stay. You can spend complete day doing multiple activities like playing cricket, Table tennis, Badminton and several other games. The staff was very helpful and served excellent homely food. We were 10 members celebrating one of our friend bachelor party. Camp fire at night organised separately for each group staying at camp was good. Camping area was clean and well maintained. Bathrooms had hot water facility. Overall experience was awesome and personally I would recommend people to visit and have excellent time with family and friends.

Awesome trek to go with friends and chillout with a bonfire at the summit. You wake up to the most beautiful sunrise infront of you. The trek arrangements were really nice.. comfortable sleeping bags were provided as well.

We had fabulous experience. I did day tracking many times. This is my first night tracking. Bus come on time and reach there late night. Difficulty level is intermediate. It is better to go for tracking instead of gym. Breakfast was fine. Only rafting is unnecessary addition in package. After tracking everybody full of tiredness. It would be great if package has option rafting optional.

I had always consulted the overviews, highlights and reviews of thrillophilia whenever I went for any trek with my friends. I found their description always helpful. Generally I prefer to go on treks with friends without proper guide as I feel it is more adventurous. But this time I went with a friend who is basically afraid of snakes and wanted to go on a guided trek. When guided treks are concerned nothing is better than thrillophilia...We started our journey at 10pm.I must say their pick up facilities were very convenient. After reaching the base camp we introduced ourselves to the trek guide Swami,had snacks and waited for other groups to come before we started our journey. At 1am sharp we started trekking and went through steps,fences,mud road, thorny trees till we reached the staircase from where we had to climb proper steps till we reach the monolithic cliff. The best part of the trek is the glittering lights you see from the distant city of ramnagara during night once you reach a decent height The view was superb and once you reach the top the view gets better. Our team was pretty swift and we reached the top in 1 hour. We enjoyed the moonlit sky and the beaming stars for sometime and then went to deep sleep. The rising sun and its awesome hue woke us up and for the first time I saw the sunrise lying on the sleeping bag without taking the pain of getting up .After the sunrise we started trekking down and reached our base camp pretty fast. We had our breakfast and then started for Bangalore..By the time breakfast was served we were very hungry and really enjoyed the homely food served there... Overall I was very satisfied and I must say guided treks are equally good specially if you are going with thrillophilia!

back 2 bangalore from a life memorable adventure trip of Coorg Karnataka..... started alone but back with bunch of awesome friends.... what a trip it was... trekked 30 kms, amazing view from hilltop, travelled with six person in small auto in most dangerous road, njoyed bonfire with drinks (sprite), got inner peace at golden temple and my fav part of trip is our disco bus..... did bhangra in moving bus .............. sometimes its better to travel alone instead of friends to reinvent life !!
