our family had been craving a fun day out for quite a while but with everyone's busy schedule, this had not been possible. We were finally suggested this place for a 1 day outing and it was perfect. We loved the concept of the resort and its scenic beauty. the food was amazing and the adventure sports were one of a kind. the staff was really understanding too! It was a fun break and we can't wait to come back here with a bigger group. :)

It's half day worth spending place and if your expectation bar isn't high it will make you happy. It could be worth spending more if you have kids with your group let them play in lawn with their friendly dog "brownie". They explain all about wine making process and followed by a wine tasting session. Also let's you walk through their grape farm and take photos. Check with them in advance whether it's season or not if you want to make your photo frames splendid with grapes. It is worth than your usual weekend hangout in Bangalore some malls or movies and if you love short rides.

Excellent Saturday spent amongst nature knowing about wine & grapes ending with excellent food. We had already booked via Thrillophilia and we reached the place around 12ish. The place is around 2 hrs drive from Bangalore, depending where once stays in Bangalore & the Traffic ;). Easy to locate via Google maps and also huge sign boards on the Mysore- Blore Highway. Its around 2 kms inside from the main road. Good amount of Parking space and once you enter the gates, its a resort like feeling. Walked upto the reception and showed them the online booking confirmation mail and while we waited for our guide explored the spacious lawns & Lunch area, clicking photographs & playing with the resident dog Brownie. Our guide arrived and he was a sea of knowledge and humour. After introducing himself to the group we move towards the wine factory, and he explained different types of wine making process and in between threw in some general knowledge and lot of humour keeping us interested in the tour. Post this we opted to take a stroll through the vast vine yards. Clicked again a lot of pictures here and then moved for the most interesting part the wine tasting part. The guide joined us again and gave us the information of the very basic of how to hold a wine glass to various types of wine and how wine should be tasted and enjoyed rather than just drinking it like a beverage. They gave us some 6 types of wine out 2 which 5 were red and 1 white wine. Now we know even bitter wine if we drink the right way is more delicious than the sweet wine. After the wine tasting it was time for lunch and we decided to have it there itself as it was quite late in the afternoon already and it was truly a wise decision as the food was just wonderful. We ordered for started Nachos with chicken toppings and for the mains pepper chicken with wheat rotis and also grape shake for drinks. One can also choose from the wide variety of wine also from the menu too, but since i had to drive back didn't want to get a hangover. After lunch we spend some more time on the lawns and then we started back for Bangalore. Indeed it was an unexpected fun filled, wonderful, knowledgeable and refreshing tour and trip. This tour can be enjoyed by all age groups and from all walks of life.

Good place to day out

This is my first trekking trip and the location is apt for a new comer. The feel of both true adventure and exploring nature is well felt. I would advise travellers to pack light for the trek but carry two bottles of water if it's a sunny day. The view from the top is fantastic and during the entire trek we had a nice elevated climb which gave a nice feel of the journey. The organizer had been very good in managing the entire itenerary and also they keep good care of each traveller. I was traveling solo but during the entire journey each of us were nicely introduced. Nagarhole visit was excellent & fortunately we got to see good bunch of wild animals. The sanctuary visit should be done early in the wee hours. I would definitely plan another trek via thrillophlia. Overall, basic accommodation and good food was provided in the trek.

It was an stunning experience for me as solo traveler. Location is in 16 km cut from Madikeri towards Talakaveri and last 3 km pathway is very much into the forest and you will be enjoying that. Location is untapped by many and road in the last stretch is not so comfortable and that is the beauty of the place. The place is very much into the forest and you wont here any sound other than birds,leaves and wind. No Wifi and Network is very weak and that's exactly what we need when we are in holidays. Temperature is damn low at night and camp fire sets the mood for it to enjoy. Tent sleep is a different experience for me and i am sure it would be the same for all. Water stream flows nearby and we can go and pass time there. Morning, we walked around 2 Km into the forest to see a jungle falls which is icing on the cake. Trekking path is also untouched by many i believe. Also you can coffee estate to walk around. No need to mention that food is very delicious and so are services. On a whole, I am sure it would be a complete package for a camp day or two. if it is Coorg, this should be your stay place. I landed at thrillophilia accidentally and it is a needed one. It was my first trekking and it was beautiful.The trek was planned and well organized. Everything thing was properly managed and the service provided was more than satisfactory, this trip was completely taken care of by Bangalore Mountaineering Club and they have done it very nicely. The food tasted was home made and it was delicious. The coordinators were very helping and supporting and every possible arrangements were made.I would like to continue my next trek with BMC again.

I was the only one who was tagged along with a Russian tourist group....as I got into the van I was like wow....I'm the odd one out...anyways,the tour guide,Irena was very considerate to explain me the places in English...we visited the old goa churches and after tat we hit the glorious dudhsagar falls.....it was just spectacular view and a cooling swim,and the ride to it was just bumpy and crossing the streams were adventurous,not a everyday thing u do....returning back was the long ride back to our lunch,which was held at the spice plantation,to my expectations it's was just less than a 20min. tour seemed to be held at the back yard rather than being taken through the large field of spices...so I guess the tour title should have more of spice garden than of plantation(or maybe I expected too much out the word \"plantations\"... lol)...moving on,it was all in all a memorable trip...I advise everyone who's travelling alone to take it....and finally to the tour organisers,kindly enquire prior the preferential language of communication,than just tagging anyone with a foreign group...I was cool enough to consider it as a new experience,others might not feel the same....Hey,to my surprise I also made some interesting conversation with Russian tourist,you'll never know wat life brings to Ur experience as go exploring the world.
