Continue to explore parts of Cairo and visit a perfume factory and a jewellery shop.
Return to your hotel or enjoy lunch at an oriental restaurant.
You could go on an optional tour of the Egyptian Museum where you can see several treasures of King Tutankhamun.
Explore the bazaars of Khan el-Khalili where you can shop for curios and souvenirs.
Spend this day at leisure or book optional excursions to explore Cairo or Alexandria.
Board a first-class train from Cairo to Aswan.
You will spend the night on the luxury train.
Embark on a three night cruise over the river Nile from Aswan to Luxor.
When in Aswan, visit the ancient Egyptian temple complex in the island of Philae and the High Dam of Aswan.
As you sail, stopover at the city of Edfu, where you can see one of the best preserved temples from the Ptolemaic period between 237 and 57 BC which was dedicated to the Egyptian falcon god, Horus.
Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, also from the Ptolemaic period, built for the crocodile god, Sobek and the falcon god, Horus.
When in Luxor, visit the Valley of the Kings, where several tombs were built for the Pharaohs between the 11th and 16th century BC.
Proceed to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut that was built for the sun god Amon-Ra.
Visit the Colossi of Memnon, two 3400 year old statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, on the west bank of the Nile River.
