Witness the slow transformation from the lush green hills of Kinnaur to the barren brown landscapes of Spiti and then again to the greens of Manali will leave you spellbound. 

 A drive from the highest village to the last village is totally worth remembering as you breathe in the fresh mountain air while sitting on the isolated slopes of the last village surrounded by magnificent landscapes. How to Reach:

By Air: The easiest way to travel to Spiti is by air. The nearest airport is Chandigarh International Airport which operates frequent flights across the country.  

By Road: Another option is The Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) which operates buses to nearby states and Union territories on a daily basis.

By Rail: Chandigarh Junction Railway is also a feasible option as it is well-connected to other major cities in India and closer to Spiti Valley.

Day 1
Depart from Delhi to Manali | A Beautiful Town Encapsulated by Magical Misty Hills (Ticket's Fare Excluded - Optional)

  • Once you reach Delhi, you will have to proceed towards your boarding point of an AC Volvo Bus for the overnight journey from Delhi to Manali.
Day 2
Sightseeing in Manali | A Paradise for Nature Lovers and Adventure Enthusiasts
Manali
  • Reach Manali early in the morning and meet a representative who will help you with the smooth transfer to the hotel.
  • Check in to the hotel, rest for a while and then you will meet with your fellow riders and get to know each other better.
  • After resting for a while, your sightseeing will start with full enthusiasm and you will be visiting the famous Hadimba temple, Buddhist temple, Clubhouse, Siyali Mahadev, Van Vihar and Old Manali.
  • Along with the same, you will be able to click multiple pictures to create wonderful memories.
  • Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 3
Manali to Kaza via Kunzum Pass | Capture the Spectacular Views of Bara-Sigri Glacier, Second Longest in the Himalayas

  • You will start by hitting the road from Manali towards Kaza.
  • You will be passing through the newly inaugurated Atal Tunnel under the famous Rohtang Pass and then drive into the stunning brown-badland landscape to approach Chatru and Batal.
  • At 14,931 feet, you will be catching your first chill at the Kunzum Pass and then descend into Losar Village, the first village in Spiti valley.
  • Take a short stopover at Losar and enjoy a hot cup of tea and some snacks.
  • Having warmed up with a cup of tea, you will continue driving through the stunning landscapes and reach Kaza.
  • You will be spending the night at a comfortable hotel in Kaza.


Day 4
Excursion to Pin Valley | Catch a Glimpse of Ghost Cats in the Maze of Daunting Trails
Kaza
  • Post breakfast, you will start your drive towards the beautiful Pin Valley.
  • Imagine a national park with an abundance of animals and birds, with some rare plant varieties, a river that gushes when it isn’t frozen and trekking opportunities for the adventure-seekers. The Pin Valley promises all this and more.
  • You will be first visiting the Kungri Monastery and then the beautiful hamlet of Mudh, which is the last motorable village of the Pin Valley.
  • After lunch, you will ride towards the world famous Ki Monastery nestled between the mountains in a bowl shaped valley of the small village Langza in Spiti valley.
  • You will then go farther up the valley to the picturesque village of Kibber to treasure the expanses of beautiful landscapes and immeasurable beauty of the snow-tipped mountains.
  • From Kibber, you will drive higher up to the secluded village of Gette where you can absorb stunning aerial views of Kaza and tie a prayer flag.
  • Overnight stay at Kaza.


Day 5
Sightseeing in Kaza | Walk the Artistically Painted Rooms at Key Monastery

  • Post early morning breakfast, take your bike out today to explore the spectacular beauty of Kaza.
  • Visit the tourist spots including the Key Gompa Monastery that is nestled between the mountains in a bowl shaped valley of the small village Langza in Spiti valley.
  • Langza lies at a whopping height of about 14,500 ft. above sea level and also considered to be one of the highest villages in the world with a motorable road and the nearby Komic Village is the highest village.
  • Hikkim is a village in the Spiti district, close to Kaza which is one of the highest year-round inhabited locations in India.
  • After exploring the beautiful villages of Langza, Hikkim and Komik, return back to your hotel in Kaza for overnight stay.
Day 6
Kaza to Chandratal Lake via Kunzum La | Explore Glistening Lake that Changes Colours Throughout the Day

  • Post breakfast, you will proceed towards the next location which is the beautiful crescent-shaped Chandratal Lake.
  • After passing Kunzum La you will take a right before Baltal to visit Chandratal Lake.
  • The beauty of this place is spectacular and you will have to leave behind the vehicle and then trek for two kilometres to reach the lake.
  • The lake is situated in the Spiti part of the Lahaul and Spiti district and is also called the “Moon Lake” due to its crescent shape.
  • It is overlooked by the mountains on one side and a cirque on the other. After the sunset, the lake glitters under the starlit sky adding to its overall charm.
  • Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the camps near Chandratal.
Day 7
Chandratal Lake to Manali via Rohtang | Witness Spellbinding Views of Geypan Peaks (Ticket's Fare Excluded - Optional)
Manali
  • Today you will be leaving behind the Spiti Valley and drive towards Manali.
  • On the way, you will be passing through the Atal Tunnel, On reaching Manali, go directly to the bus stand to board an AC Volvo Bus to Delhi.
  • Overnight journey on the bus to Delhi.
Day 8
Reach Delhi | End of Trip With a Bag Full of Life Time Memories

  • In the morning your bus will be reaching Delhi and this will mark the end of your memorable tour to Spiti Valley.

Know Before You Go for Manali to Spiti | FREE Pin Valley Excursion

  • For safety purposes, this tour is not recommended for women who are more than 3 months pregnant, anyone that has had major surgery, or has a broken leg/arm, has chronic back or neck pains, etc.
  • Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; it is advisable that you take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.
  • Consult a physician before undertaking the tour. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the tour.
  • It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the tour. The advisable baggage weight is 60 litres as you might have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle, the accommodation, etc.
  • Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests, hotel change, etc., before the beginning of the trip.
  • The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travellers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.
  • Thrillophilia reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance that occurred (i.e weather condition, political condition or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.
  • Liability for change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like a change in flight and train schedule, cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, roadblocks, etc. will not be accommodated in the package cost. No bill will be reimbursed for any missed service/facility.
  • Because of any reason natural or personal, if the tour or a particular activity is not completed, no refund will be processed.
  • Pay heed to the tour guides and instructors in order to enjoy a safe and sound tour.
  • All entry tickets for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees, monument entrances, camera charges, permits, etc. are not a part of the package.
  • GST is applicable to the package cost.
  • Any personal expenses or items of personal nature will not be included in the package. Any meals or transfers not mentioned in the itinerary are to be considered an exclusion in the deal. Any kind of drink (alcoholic, aerated, or mineral water) is not included in the package cost.
  • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travellers littering may be fined.
  • Usage of the swimming pool at any accommodation is strictly according to government guidelines.
  • Carry dry snacks/food, granola bars, etc. from home. Carry a regular and another insulated water bottle with you, so that you can refill.
  • Any breakage or damage of any items in the resort will be charged at actuals.
  • All international and domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax or any kind of insurance cover is not a part of the package.
  • Carry enough cash as the number of ATMs in high-altitude regions are comparatively less and there are long queues at times.
  • Transportation during the trip would be in Non AC & Non-Heater vehicles. Please wear clothes according to the weather while travelling.
  • If in case any traveller wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveler. Neither the operator nor Thrillophilia will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.
  • Guidelines issued by the State-Government is to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.
  • ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
  • This is a Summer Spiti Trip and will be operational from June to Oct
  • The above-mentioned display price is applicable for 6 PAX for standard hotels.
  • Rescheduling Policy for Private (Standard & Deluxe Package) & Group Bookings: 1) If rescheduling is made 7 days after the Booking Date till 15 days prior to the Date of Travel then 30.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as rescheduling fees. | 2) If rescheduling is made 0 days to 15 days before the Date of Travel then 100.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees. | 3) If bookings are made 15 days before the Date of Travel no rescheduling & modifications will be made.
  • Rescheduling Policy for Private (Super Deluxe) & Hotel Specific Bookings: No modification or Rescheduling will be catered. A standard cancellation policy will be applicable for such cases.

  • Cancellation After Rescheduling: Clients who reschedule their tours or treks but later decide to cancel will be subject to our standard cancellation policy. Any rescheduling fees paid will be non-refundable.
