Great place to watch the nature in fullest. The view from the top will amazed you. it was a meorable experience for the group. just the the trek was tiring but it was worth it. it rained and that made it more difficult but was also the best part. there were small streams and waterfall allover and a perfect place to enjoy with my friends. also a night stay was very refreshing away from the city. do this trek i am sure you will al love it like i did.

I have never experienced wind so strong that it could feel myself flying off the floor and this is what Mullayangiri will offer you. Now, don't worry - stay strong, hold on to people and things and climb the hill to get an amazing view.

Its a must see place in Chikmagalur, but trails are is very risky/dangerous for beginners the place is very windy. i would recommend do some small treks before you do this. but its worth the trek and the hieght the best part is after the trek, homestay at a locals house and really good homecooked food. thank you all for such a memorable trip.

Mullayanagiri peak is a nice place but the trek route is very dangerous. We had to be very careful while trekking through the hill. there were No railings beside the foot trails for trekkers. the view is worth the risk of the climb really cool experience. the pleasnt view and a really chilled home stay was good. overall a very good experience

Me and my wife went to join this trekking on our own. We were travelling to other places in South India and then when we reached Chikmagalur, thought to see how many different activities can be done there. I have booked another tour through Thrillophilia before so we decided to book this package as well. The service was so good. The people who came with the team supported us very well. After the trekking we became really tired but the views from such a great height made our day.

The trek was amazing, a lot of people were there. Since there was transportation from Bangalore we did not have to worry about how will we reach the location. The guide has explained about the place in detail and the stay arranged by the service providers was actually good. We spent each minute in complete thrill.

Man, Mullayanagiri is damn beautiful. It reminded me somewhat of Assam as its damn green. Loved making our way through thick-green pastures. Amazing experience. A beautiful place and fit for people of all fitness level.

Our first ever trip to Mullayangiri was the best as the trekking was challenging for me and my friends. But the awesome location and the friendly guide helped us forget the tiring activity. From the top, you can see the amazing greenery around Chikmagalur and the coffee plantations down the peak.

Chickmagalur is the home of coffee plantations and misty valleys! It feels like it is the land where heaven descended for a while. I loved every bit of the trekking experience. It was a little tiring, but every step we took brought us closer and closer to spirituality and beauty.

The name sounds so funny!! Hehehehe! However, on this trek I realised what a beautiful land we live in. The trek leaders were also very careful to keep up with the rest of the group and keep everyone on their toes and excited.

Mullayangiri is one of the highest peaks in Chikmagalur and it would be so great if you go any other season rather than summer.

If you have to visit only one place in Chikmangalur then MUllayanagiri and bababudangiri. The highest peak in Karnataka the place offers splendid views. we had trek till the top from one place to another. it was just a very memorable trekking experience and wonderful homestay. Food was not that great but decent. The dinner was good and much needed after a tiring day but overall i had a good time.

Last week we group of 11 members have booked for Kumaraparvatha Trekking. I have been in contact with Thrillophilia 10 days before the trekking and requested for their guidance. I got good support from Thrillophilia and they helped us in booking as well. After booking on the day when we are about to start from Bangalore, the tour supplier said it is not possible to go to kumaraparvatha. He mentioned this is not the season to go, we never take anyone during this season as it will be heavily raining. But we said we would like to go there and check with the forest officials, but they denied. They proposed alternative trip for mulaiyangiri and asked us 300rs per head as extra amount. We wanted to cancel the trip, but they said 1000rs per head will be charged as cancellation amount, which is not way in our plate and finally we went for mulaiyangiri trek. We have been assured for camp stay, but as there were no proper arrangements we couldn't do camping. Then the guide asked us to stay in a hotel at our own expense, as it was late night and we had girls in our group we accepted for the plan and stayed. Our trek guide was totally inefficient and he had no experience in this place. For the next day, guide assured us he will take us to belur and halebidu temples. But he took us only to belur temple and said halebidu will take time and we have to pay extra money. We are not ready to pay extra, so he said they will drop us in bangalore. We started from Chickmagalur at 11AM, and out of vein and no help we reached bangalore by 7PM. Halebidu temple would have hardly taken 1 hour extra and still we would have reached Bangalore within 9PM which was the timing given as per their itinerary. After spending 35200Rs for 11 people, we hardly enjoyed or felt the value for money in the trip. This was really the worst experience anyone will have with such suppliers. Thrillophilia should take necessary actions against this supplier and also make sure if you commit something before booking, you follow the same after booking also. Looking for some authenticity from Thrillophilia!! Booking Number: thrillophilia-i405j8ntw Booking Date: Jun 09, 2015
