  • Day 2 -

Get started with the biking expedition today! Ride along the Beas River (upstream) and pass several local villages to reach the enthralling Rohtang Pass. Here onwards ride downwards through Gramphu and continue towards the Passport Checkpoint in Koskar. Once done with all the formalities, kick start your engines to reach Keylong, a tribal settlement for an overnight stay.

  • Day 3 -

Today’s ride will take you through extremely zigzag trails; a challenge in themselves! All the way from Keylong to Sarchu, the hanging glaciers till Baralacha La (4,800m) will be your companions. From the pass, the trails will start descending and you can expect a less difficult ride till you reach Sarchu Plateau for an overnight stay

  • Day 4 -

Starting with today’s ride, you will be following a curvy route ahead of Sarchu that will take you to Namik La (4,950m) jotted with rugged rocks forming a unique outlook. Proceeding further with your bikes, you will reach Lachu Lang La (5,090m) and descend down through the narrow valleys of Ganglajal and will finally arrive in Pang.

Hereafter, riding through the gorgeous Kyang Chu-Thang plateau (also called ‘Plateau of Wild Donkeys’), you will arrive at the Tsokar Lake or the ‘White Water Lake’. Enjoy the stunning views of the lake along with its salt formation and several species of birds like Yellow Headed Wagtail, Pled Wagtail, Desert Wheatears, Raven, Horned Lark and others; overnight stay in Tsokar.

  • Day 5 -

After munching on a delicious breakfast in Tsokar, start your engines and hit the roads to Leh. On your way, you will pass through Tanglang La Pass (17,585ft), the second highest motorable pass in the world. In order to cross this pass, get the required permissions from Upshi and continue your expedition along the valleys and banks of the stunning Indus River and arrive in Leh by evening and check-in into a hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Day 6 -

Take a break from biking and make the best use of your day by embarking on a Leh exploration tour. Visit the local markets, enjoy shopping in there and explore some of the local tourist spots.

  • Day 7 -

Starting with today’s biking, you will be passing through the Changla Pass (14,500ft), the third highest motorable pass in the world and finally reach the Pangong Lake. Witness the celestial beauty and appeal of the lake before you start riding back to Leh.

Not to worry, oxygen cylinders with the crew members will help you overcome the altitude sickness! Take in the mesmerising views of the Himalayas and its gorgeous valley from the pass before you start biking back towards Leh.

When it comes to bike trip I am always ready for this and what could be better than the mountains when you go for a bike tour. I booked this tour from Thrillophilia and everything was arranged for us. Once we reached Manali we were provided with our bikes and was all ready for the adventure. The bikes were very well maintained. We also had a spare jeep and a mechanic with us throughout the tour. The accommodation and food was superb as well. It was a wonderful trip.

If you love adventure then this is definitely the tour you should opt for. We had the best adventure ourselves. Everything was very well organized for us. The accommodation and transportation were perfect. As we had camping included in the package, we had great time camping under the cold night sky. The views of the surrounding were magnificent. We visited some places like Naggar Castle, Roerich Art Galley, Hindu Temple and also visited the Pangong lake and Tsokar Lake. It was a wonderful experience. Great trip altogether.
