About the Homestay and Nature

Kadumane homestay is a quaint homestay set amidst the thick evergreen forest of Joida Taluk. This homestay opened its doors for true nature lovers, bird lovers in 2007. It is maintained by Narsimha Bhatt, a true naturalist.

Nature is his passion and he has been a pioneer in conserving the forest. During your stay here Mr. Bhatt will take you on morning treks inside the forest where you will get to enjoy nature photography and birdwatching. Along the way, you will learn about the importance of herbs in Ayurveda.

Kadumane homestay offers three types of accommodations: deluxe cottages, camping tents and single cottages. The rooms here are eco-friendly and equipped with basic amenities. During your stay, you will get to savor delicious and healthy local food.

After a tiresome day, you can relax your body with a herbal steam bath and sip some freshly brewed herbal tea. In the evening, enjoy an hour of interesting conversation with a campfire and some hot tea and snacks. A weekend at Kadumane Homestay is an ideal way of getting a break from the chaotic city life.
