Horse Riding In Shimla Overview
Duration: 3 Hours
Start Point and End Point: Mall Road, Shimla
Horse riding is one of the loved activities in Shimla. A lot of times, horses tend to be the only means to reach someplace in Shimla, and Masu peak is one of them. This tour will start at 9 am from the mall road of Shimla to Mahasu peak and also ending point will be the same. One horseman with each horse will be there. It takes 40 min to reach the Mahasu peak from mall road. The magnificent view of the peak will provide you long-lasting experience. This is the highest point of the town so great views are a given—on a clear day you can even see the Badrinath and Kedarnath ranges—but the best way to do it is by undertaking the challenging hike through a thick forest of deodar and spruce up to the summit. During ski season, the Mahasu ridge is a great spot for beginners to practice before hitting the rougher slopes. Make a pit-stop at the Nag Devta temple (the Snake God is Kufri's local deity) when you get to the top.
You can do adventure activities as well on the peak at an additional cost like Ziplining, Freefall, Burma bridge, etc.
How to reach:
