I am madly and deeply in love with Sikkim. I can't believe a place like this can be so beautiful and still people are unaware about it. Walking through narrow pathways and tiny hamlets on the way make this place all the more interesting and worth the effort.

The trek was managed and executed to perfection. The arrangements were exemplary and more than anything else, the trek team was friendly and helpful. During the trek the guides would even identify flora for us, so that we went back richer with knowledge and experience. The camp arrangements and the food was superb.

If trekking is a way to attain mental peace, I would say Sikkim is the abode of peace. Within this trek, there will never be a single moment where you won't be excited. Dzongri Trek is good for trekkers who prefer short, high altitude treks. Although this may sound easy, this requires a lot of stamina. This was my first short, high altitude trek, and it was tiring. That being said, it was indeed a really great experience. We had the time of our lives here. It is more enjoyable when the trek is taken as a gang of people. That way the trek can be more relaxing and refreshing especially when those small camp breaks are taken.

Seeing the sunset point from Tiger hill is an experience that is completely out of this world. It was truly something else going for the Yukzom Dzongri trek and we wish we could have been part of this experience for longer. The waterfalls around this place is all the more lovely as the mountains provide a backdrop to the place.
