Even dharamshalas are better than this self proclaimed resort... There was no water in taps...The person who came to serve welcome drink was in filthy clothes....pyzamas...loads of dirt on reception.... it is not worth condisering even for a funeral .... utterly disappointed as we booked it for birthday bash but returned back immediately after reaching the point....

This is a review for Devil's Circuit NCR - I couldn't find the page for NCR, so posting here. Extremely poor organization for the following reasons: 1: There is no availability of water or energy drinks anywhere along the course. There is water at the beginning where the race begins, nowhere else. Even a regular marathon or a 5k race has these arrangements well made. From the middle of the race, we had to walk around 1-1.5km just to quench our thirst. 2: Most of these 'obstacles' are not suitable for beginners or novices without adequate safety measures. There were absolutely none over here and incidentally as a result there were a couple of emergency situations as well during my race where the ambulance had to be called. Certain simple precautions like providing harness, having deeper pools while falling off etc couldve easily averted such situations. 3: In a bid to make more money, the organizers seem to have overbooked and there was atleast a 20-25 minute long queue for every obstacle. Makes one wonder, if this was actually a 'race' or an ATM line during demonetization. It defeats the whole purpose of any 'fun' in an obstacle course. 4: More than half of the obstacles involved dirty muddy water. Hyigene apart, I dont understand how rolling in muddy water is an obstacle that tests your 'strength and fitness' which is what Devils circuit even claimed it is. In fact, I did not see as much mud and filth in the Goa and Mumbai editions whose pictures were uploaded - just one or two obstacles were there. Somehow the NCR one had been made exclusively muddy and dirty. 5: Photographs: Despite specifically posing and asking the photographers to click photos, none of these have been uploaded, neither on the website nor on facebook. In total, I missed out four key photographs that were specifically clicked. This is not just me, I have seen numerous complaints on the FB page of a similar nature. Whats the point of paying so much money and participating in the event when you dont even get all your photographs? Addendum: The organizers actually responded to this review of mine on Facebook and all they did was Justify every bit of the issue I have mentioned above. Instead of addressing genuine customer concerns , these guys have been extremely petty in their treatment of the issue and have even resorted to blatantly accusing and insulting the consumers themselves. (Note that I was not the only one who raised these issues, there were several others) This is the worst form of management I have ever encountered in any event (and there is no count of the number of such events I have participated in, so I am not talking in thin air)

Lack of safety measures which landed many people in hospitals with severe fractures and injuries. For some i know had injuries in the vertebrae or skull and others had twisted and broken hands or legs. Devils circuit has tie up with private hospitals and on the day of event the hospitals have good business. I saw 4 critical unstable fractures being surgically treated. And thats just the number of people who continued to be treated at that hospital while others went to see for other economic hospitals. No arrangement for energy drink or glucose on the track and you cannot take anything on the track as well increasing the chances of risks and injuries. Also, the obstacle section has multiple tracks with closely placed props which will cause injuries when many people are taking that obstacle or when you slip or fall from on the other track. Devil Circuit is trying to mimic American Ninja Warrior (ANW) but the organizers should know that the ANW takes care of safety in every possible way with clean and deep swimming pools and not just 2 ft mud pools with hygiene issues or mats placed on uneven terrain with wide gaps. For the target group of this event, the organizers dont even bother to have harnesses. It was a mess in short!! We went for a team outing with 30 people and the moment we land we see the following: 1) 350 more people are there and the resort guys did not have the courtesy to call us and inform this so that we could reschedule 2) Money minting and overcharging for the smallest of things 3) We paid 850 per head and could not get even the basic amenities...due to the rush 4) Food was extremely below average - only 2-3 items of a long list of things was somewhat decent 5) No proper shade if there is lot of crowd. You are left to wander in the sun 6) Photo shows pool is blue and serene, but actually it was messy and green in color

The place seems very crowdy on weekends. Concentration is only on scenic beauty and gufa's . they are charging high on each and every activity(Zipline, zorbing, quard bike, bungy jumping ) and none of the activity is including in the package except food, carom, TT (that too worst). Even rope activity and cycling are chargeable, swimming Pool is highly occupied. Rain dance is OK but due to over crowd its very inconvenient. No limit of people. :@ There are much better resorts available in same or less price.. Not recommended at all.

I got this Resort as a Gift package from my Employer and chose this, so they can ensure a pleasurable experience for its employees. But to be honest this is one of the worst experiences that you can get. Listing down few. My package was from 9:00 till 5:30PM inclusive of Breakfast and Lunch. We reached there by 10:00 and ran out by 12:30. 1. Road to this place is not good. And no one informed us from Resort that Road construction works are going on and road blocks were to be accounted for while travel. 2. The resort doesnt restrict number of people per day. So there were more than 1000 members. This means the place is crowded like hell. Cricket grounds were occupied by 10-20 teams, zip lines crossing across these teams, zorbing balls passing across crowds..wow.. 3. You have to pay for each of these activity a. Cycling - 50 Rs per cycle and half of them were not in ridable condition and where would you ride these , between ppl playing cricket, badmnton and others ..huhh b. Horse riding - 100rs - This is just for 20meters walk on the horse c. Zorbing - 200rs for adults, 100 for Kids, d. Zip Line - 100 for Kids. etc etc etc etc 3. Two to three groups of people were Drinking and Smoking on the Lawns. No one bothered about it. How would you expect families to walk around among these groups? 4. For each and every process , you have stand in queue with people who dont understand what a queue is. Queue for Payment, Queue for Coupon, Queue for Breakfast, Queue for each activity...huhh 5. We could see groups of people still being allowed at 12;30PM. And most of them were drunk. Literally we could smell alcohol as each group passed by. 6. This resort also has Rain dance , imagine fate of girls among these groups. Of course this is a risky place for girls. So after seeing all this and experiencing some hours of horrible conditions, we came out of this place.

One of the worst resort in Bangalore. It is more of a restaurant than a resort...They should stop calling it a resort. Went for a day-out package with the family and utterly disappointed. -> Nobody knows a thing and none of them are co-ordinated. -> No one knows what the other person is doing. -> None of them cares for customers -> Amenities are pathetic (both indoors and outdoors) -> Most dirtiest swimming pool...can't even think of getting into it -> There is no live buffet,it is a pre-set buffet (they never tell you while booking) - No non-veg ; you have to fight to get a single non-veg dry - No Desserts!!! ( on asking we got one small cup of halwa) - 4 varieties gravies (even though you don't ask for and it surely goes waste as one can't just eat gravies!!!! Had been to many resorts in & around bangalore..But this is by far the worst!!!! Am surprised that they still exists!!! Food is kind of decent!!!

This is the worst camp I have ever been to. Heck its like I put up tents in my own garden ,set up a space and light fire and call it bonfire. The service was horrible. The billing person was completely useless as she didn't help at all and made things tough for us. They don't care at all as soon as the money is transferred to them. When requested to change plans they refused to comply. The people over there are hopeless as they don't help at all. The bonfire was set up in such a great fashion that it literally took 5 minutes for it to fizz out. The games organized were petty and the trek organized was such that one doesn't even need a guide for it. Bird watching as they claim is just watching eagles soar in the sky. In tents they didn't even sleep bags. Do not believe the pictures as they are completely false. Now lets come down to food. According to them dinner is inedible rotis made of maida,rce and sambhar. Thats it. No vegetables and if you are thinking its a resort, buddy you are in for a big shock. The breakfast is a revelation as they provide hard idlis and a coconut chatni which makes you wonder as to how can anyone mess this up. There are restrictions as to you can't use the washbasin besides the reception or you can't have sandwiches (whereas the workers in kitchen are gobbling them). The guys whose' contact details are shared to book this places sound very nice but only till you have made the payment. After that they don't care at all. My advice to one and all,if you want a weekend getaway ,for the same cost go some where else.You have much cheaper yet decent options. To me this was the worst experience ever. I have to rate it 1 star as they won't allow me to publish this review without it.

First of all i was expecting a great outing.As heard a lot about the place.But believe me worst resort ever.So small,unhealthy. Not enough game equipment, all were old untidy.No space around.Quad bike was not working.And even didn't allow to ride the horse,stating that horse it tired.All money was a waste.Guys suggest you to better avoid this resort. Try mango mist or Discovery Village

Quality and taste of food was bad. Filthy rest rooms it's frogs , lizards and sport webs. Shower room is also the same (as rest rooms) , hard to close the door as well. Bad maintenance of the pool, took their own time to come and clean the pool. Even then it's dirty. Never recommend for anyone.

I think they don't even deserve even one would have given them a zero rating if there was one. Have booked a trip for Anthargange for 23 July 2016 a month before for 10 people in our group. On the day of the trekking we get a call that trekking has been cancelled as its unsafe and we are not getting a permit. Would have appreciated there response in advance rather then telling it on the day of trekking thanks for screwing up our weekend and being so unprofessional.

Big Time disappointment, worst mgmt Let me start with the review part : 1) No torch and sleeping bags, it was painful to sleep on uneven rocks that too in chilling cold night at such height. Horrible exp 2) No proper arrangements for water n washrooms - this should have been taken care of. We carried bulk water bottles but it got finished, 3) Total Time Waste - the night trek was ok but water activities next morning is some kind of joke!! Unhygienic n no safety measures, dirty lakes with insects n flies and just 3-4 boats for around 60 people for kayaking, how can they waste time of others while 1-2 person is on boat rest 60 ppl are just waiting for their turn under hot burning sun, A big no no. We didn't do any water activity coz of all this n chose to sit inside bus then also the driver is not allowing to enter in bus before time, it was locked n again u r stuck in middle of no where 4) Pathetic Breakfast worst Lodge - can't believe they took us to the cheapest n most unhygienic lodge for breakfast, annoying irritating it was 5) Mixing wrong age group n no actives dull instructors - In 4 hrs they should have done ice breaking sessions amongst all n games ,team actives they could hv conducted in bus but no just coz of noise by some boys other travellers were getting irritated, 6) Alcohol n smoking consumption - some travellers were drunk n did smoking, it's awful how can they mix girls grps with drunk ppl This place is nice trek for beginners but be careful while choosing your trip organiser as we are highly disappointed and dissatisfied from this one

We(2 Families) went for day outing yesterday to "Guhantara". It was big disappoint for us in each & every factor. We could n't able to relax or enjoy for a single moment. Over all it's horrible experience. It will be a big list if I start mentioning the things which i felt about the resort. I told them(Resort People) before leaving the resort but they simply said they have not expected this crowd. I would like to give minus "-" rating but there is no option here..

I went there with friends and wife on Sunday. First of all the location is very far from main road and there are no direction signs from main road to resort. It took us almost an hour to reach there and i saw many were in same situation as me. It was very crowded, management should put some cap on number of bookings other it becomes very difficult for visitor enjoy and took part in all activities. Dance floor was very small for the number of people. Food was also not so great with very less verity and dining area was also not sufficient again because of more bookings.

We took this trek .............the trek was not at all good and the organising teamw as very irresponsible..........half the activities were cancelled and we were shooed away saying there is NO LICENSE................

I had been this place around 8 times. I loved this place. but on my yesterday trip, I socked to see the environment created by police. Here I am going to say the problem faced by me. We should avoid this place to visit. Bangalore to Hogenakkal 1. WASTE OF TIMES: ongoing time 4-5 times, police stopped my car and searched liqueur. waste lots of time. 2. NO ENJOYMENT: you can't carry any liqueur and no the way to purchase on the way or spot. 3. BAD POICE BEHAVIOUR: Policeman are not cooperative. They don't speak English or Hindi. They behave likes you are a criminal. 4. No BATH: You can't touch the water on the spot for security reason. Everywhere you can find policeman who are the guard of the river water. Only limited area you can take bath, which is very crowdie and waste of time. 5. NO COOKING: You can't cook on the spot. So it's not a picnic place anymore. 6. COSTLY: You have to pay 750/- even you want a short ride on crocodiles . With term and condition applied. 7. RTO HARRSHMENT: If you forget to carry any of ur documents, then you can download that on ur mobile as there is no network. And end up with paying more money to cops. 8. BAD CLIMATE: Humidity without any option to bath . You can imagine. 9. PARKING PROBLEM: Due to the rule and regulation you face this problem. I loved this place. But after yesterday trip, now I just HATE this place. Finally I can say, "SAVE Hogenakkal from corrupted COPS

Went to this place with Team on a weekend, the place is good and it was going very good until we met the so called lead Naveen Bajaj. He is very arrogant and does not know how to talk to customers. We asked him for Barbeque, he started showing tantrums in rude manner (like why did not you book it earlier blah blah), not at all flexible and willing to help. The dinner was served not as per the promise in the site. When we complained he was arguing and telling you did not pay me you talk to the person from whom you booked. Well that's ridiculous I mean these guys they sell their stuff though internet and when there is an issue then they just find excuses. I was filling like cheated by an arrogant person. I am sure this guy's attitude is going to spoil the beauty of camping for anyone like it did for us. So guys please opt for a place where people know how to talk. Don't spoil your mood for some arrogant manager at the cost of your pocket. For me Its no go :((((

Hello friends, Today I'm going to write a brief review on my last adventure trip to kunti betta night trek. Let me quickly brief about some of the key points which I have noticed during my trip. 1. A very large group of people around 50+ were there in total which I thought would be difficult to manage and indeed it was. Group of college going boys were there in our bus ...though alcohol and drinks were prohibited but they didn't care. They were drunk and smoked unofficially which caused trouble for fellow members. 2) we stopped in between at ramnagara in the night but place was pathetic not recommended for girls. 3 ) we reached at the destination at around 2 AM. We started our trek but contrary to the promised made no torch and sleeping bags were provided.it was damm cold at the top and difficult to survive there though bon fire was arranged but again spoiled by the wrong group of people. 4) no arrangements for the water bottles Washroom provided was very dirty , not at all hygienic. 5)next day water activity kayaking was scheduled but to our surprise hardly 4-5 boats were there for 50 people. You have to wait for your turn in hot sun for your chance to get into kayaking for a 5 min ride. 6) no safety precautions were taken during kayaking activity, you need to jump into the boat directly and strictly not recommended. My friends & I didn't take the ride and immediately decided to skip this one. 7) at last we went for the break fast but as expected it was very ungyginc ,you can't go such places with your family for breakfast. 8)finally we reached Bangalore at around 2:15pm and concluded our trip leave ourselves completely unsatisfying. So my recommendation is a big no to this one.

Not a good experience. We had reached the place exactly at 8.30 a.m but no staff was present to welcome. Even we got a breakfast at 9.30 a.m. They have an artificial lake for water activites but not good enough to enjoy the water sports. And swimming pool was not cleaned. Food taste is normal. Place setup is good and can be managed better.
