Cottage Stay Amid Lush Green Forest At Jim Corbett

Set amidst breathtaking surroundings and home to a wide variety of birds, mammals, and other wildlife the stay is aesthetically and sustainably designed to perfectly align with nature. The stay is composed of 6 cottages, 3 mud and thatched cottages, and 3 stone cottages each one at a distance of some meters. Each cottage can accommodate a maximum of 3 guests, has an en-suite bathroom and a veranda. The rooms are well equipped with all the modern amenities like a cosy and comfortable double bed with clean linen, decorated with lamps and lanterns. Further, these cottage has a separate area for extra bedding, moreover, each room is provided with a comfortable seating where one can laze around and patio also have a traditional seating area where one can sit overlooking majestic Shivalik Hills and lush green forest with the chirping of birds along with one can read a book, or can take a sip of coffee or tea. The site even has Matchan, entirely made of wood, this watchtower is set against the backdrop of Shivalik Mountain Range. Tucked away and having a spectacular 360-degree view of the forest. 

The stay has been centrally located in the forest of Jim Corbett and gives numerous options for adventure activities. The stay provides two scheduled guided walking safaris, there is no better way to truly experience the forest than by walking through it. One will often see and learn more on 100m of a trail than on a 2-hour game drive. Exploring tiger-rich Jim Corbett National Park on foot is forbidden. There are a number of walking trails from the lodge, varying in difficulty, such as routes into the hills that surround us or along the river where numerous pug marks can often be seen. One can let their preference know on spot to the guide. 

Further stay offers various activities like jungle safari, Angling, Nature walk. The stay has a river flowing just some meters away, one can take a nature walk up till that place and can relax with the song of the river and the cold breeze running against us. The stay is situated in a range of hills that are a transition zone between the plains to the south and the mountains to the northeast with a rich river habitat that attracts Pallas's Lesser and Grey-headed Fish Eagle, numerous kingfishers, Brown and Tawny Fish Owl, which at dusk are more often heard than seen hence the site is bliss to bird watchers. 

How to Reach: The stay is located in Jim Corbett National Park, nearest airport being Jolly Grant Airport which is 146 km from the stay and nearest railway station is Kotdwar railway station which is 34 km from the stay. Further if notified earlier, pickup and drop can be arranged at an extra cost on request.
