First up, the day tour is managed in two parts. City sightseeing and Desert safari. The vehicles and drivers are totally different. I suggest to have the drop point between these two could be someone central to avoid loss of time.
Positives:
1. Driver for desert safari has very good skills which resulted in good experience in dune bashing.
2. Overall this tour is good Value for money as it is reasonably priced as well as covers most points of interest (if shown properly as mentioned)
Negatives:

Overall the experience was good, the trip starts from old Dubai, Deira and ends in atlantis. The tour guide provided cultural and historical details related to individual places and he explained nicely. Bus seats could little be more better and they could have include 1 or 2 places that could be visit from inside rather just to take photographs from outside, specially for mosque.
