The Vatican was an experience that I had intellectually prepared for but was still not emotionally ready for. The Sistine Chapel ceiling, in person, after waiting through winding corridors, is simply overwhelming. Paris added a completely different energy - lighter, more playful, more about the streets and the cafes than the monuments. A wonderful European combination with good pacing between the two cities.

Montmartre area was so charming and artistic, loved every street. Kandipa the cheese and wine tasting was the personal highlight. One museum queue was very long but that's unavoidable in high season. Magical overall!
