Coming from Delhi, the organized and clean streets of Almaty were a breath of fresh air, literally. We loved the proximity of the mountains to the city center—you can be on a ski slope in 20 minutes! Manoj was a great help with the visa process.

The drive from Pune to the airport was the start of a fantastic adventure to the Kolsai Lakes. The turquoise water and the surrounding pine trees were a dream come true for our nature-loving group. Sameer planned the itinerary beautifully.

Almaty is definitely the best city in Central Asia for travelers who love a mix of nature and urban life. The café culture is thriving and the locals are very relaxed and fashionable. It’s a very safe and welcoming destination.

The contrast between Almaty’s cozy streets and Astana’s bold, futuristic buildings was fascinating for our group from Bangalore. We spent hours photographing the Khan Shatyr entertainment center. Thanks to Anand for making the internal flights so easy.

Almaty is a gem of a city with a great blend of Soviet history and modern café culture. It’s very easy to navigate and the nearby mountains offer endless adventure. I would definitely visit again in a heartbeat.

Kazakh people are very warm and the nomadic culture is rich with history and tradition. Staying in a yurt under the vast sky was an authentic and grounding experience. The entire trip was seamless and well-coordinated.

The hospitality in the nomadic yurts was eye-opening and very authentic. Even though there was a bit of a language barrier, the local hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. It's a side of the world everyone should see once.
