The Symphony hall hosts hundreds of performances every year. So, if you happen to reach the place around that time, you can catch up on a few shows. The seats get booked really quickly, so you have to make advance bookings. The hall does not have any sophisticated dress code like the other halls in Birmingham. The performances generally last two hours, so you have to stay put for that time, to enjoy all the music.

If you want to have the best experience in terms of sound, you have to sit a bit off-centre from the orchestra, at least 2/3rd rows away from the back. It is also modelled on the shoebox shape.
