ASIR NATIONAL PARK

Asir National Park is one of the most unspoilt wilderness areas in all of Saudi Arabia, in addition to being the country’s first national park surpassing an area of 1,600 square kilometres. Furthermore, it is also the home of more than 300 species of birds and animals. Dating back to the late 1980s, the national park boasts of various picnic as well as camping sites, in addition to nature trails, hiking paths and more.

The Asir National Park is the first ever national park that was established in Saudi Arabia, which makes it one of the essential places to visit in Saudi Arabia. It is one of the best places from where you can get an insight into the local ecosystem, flora and fauna of the region. It covers an area of 1600 square miles and is home to over 300 species of colourful and exotic birds.
