About the Monument:

The Khajuraho Temples are based in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, adorned with a number of marvellous & beautiful medieval Hindu temples. The sculptures and architecture of the temples are prominently known amongst visitors and makes Khajuraho a popular tourist destination in India. The Western Group of Temples - a part of the Khajuraho temples, are situated on the west of the Bamitha-Rajnagar road, beside the beautiful water body Sib-Sagar.

Explore the 6 major structures of the Western Group of Temples dedicated to the Shaivite and Vaishnavite cults.
Visit Chausath Jogini Temple, comprising of 64 small cells referring to the number of Yoginis who were known as the female attendants of Goddess Kali. Boasting of being the only temple in Khajuraho which is built entirely of granite, it consists of a courtyard that is 104 ft in length and 60 ft in breadth.
Later, explore the Kandariya Mahadeva Temple which is the largest of all the temples in Khajuraho & marks its existence from 10th century CE. The temple is 109 feet high and 60 feet wide. Besides, the walls of the temple are adorned with approx 900 paintings & floral carvings. There are dedicated figures of Goddess Ganga (River Ganga) and Goddess Jumna (River Yamuna).
Visit the Devi Jagdamba Temple, a beautiful temple is composed of 77 ft in length and 50 ft in breadth. The temple is dedicated to Devi Jagdamba known as the ‘Mother Goddess of the World.
Witness the Chitragupta or Bharatji’s Temple, which is dedicated to the Sun God (Surya). The temple comprises an image of the Sun God of 5 feet, wearing high boots and driving a chariot of 7 horses.
Explore Vishwanath Temple, which is dedicated to ‘Lord of the Universe’ - another name for Lord Shiva. The temple is as tall as 90 feet, with a Linga installed inside & an emerald placed in the centre.
Visit the Laxmana Temple which is prominently known for implementing innovation in architecture techniques.

In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.

Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking before confirmation and a full refund will be processed.

If cancellation is made 3 days or more before the date of travel, no cancellation fees will be charged.
If cancellation is made between 1 days to 3 days before the date of travel, 50.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellation is made within 1 days before the date of travel, total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
