Golden Palm Resort Bangalore Day Out @ Flat 20% off

 Rated : 5.0

My wife surprised me on my birthday to this resort on a day-out experience and the experience itself was awesome !! We booked the day-out package for Breakfast-Lunch-Hi_Tea, was initially reluctant thanks to the reviews here on the resort for bad service and rude behavior of the staff but then thought of giving a try. When we arrived at the gate we were asked just one question, "Do you have a reservation?", my answer was yes and were let in without any further questions. We didn't have to even go to the reception for check-in as a display board at the front of the reception building welcomed us and directed us for Breakfast. The breakfast spread was vast ranging from Continental to Indian; bacons, sausages, baked beans, bread, pancakes with Maple syrup, Upma, Idli, Vada, Sambhar, boiled Egg, Corn Flakes, Gajar ka Paratha, Boiled Veggies, Toast, Sunny Side Up, Hash Brown, Porridge, Sugar and Chocolate Donuts, Cupcakes, Chocolate and Plain Croissant, Banana Cake etc. (cannot list them all :) ) After the sumptuous breakfast we headed for a tour of the resort spread over 14 acres. The indoor games facility was good comprising Pool table, Squash, Chess, Carrom, TT and Foosball that kept us engaged all day long. Didn't attempt any of the outdoor games thanks to the summer heat of Bangalore, Tennis, Badminton, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball were the ones available. The shuttle cocks are charged at Rs.50 a piece. Apart from that there were no additional charges involved. There is a separate play area for Children with swings and slides, in front of the indoor games building. The Lunch was lavish again. The miancourse contained a couple of continental dishes, 2 Chinese, 2 Italian and a few Indian dishes such as Gost Biryani, Gost Dimsums, Veg Dimsums, Pulav, Dal, Rice, Rasam, Curd Rice, Dahi Vada, Breads etc. Desserts spread included Cakes, Pastries, Rum Pudding, Tawa Jamun, Babu Shahi, Kheer, Gajar ka Halwa, Custard etc. A good tea with French Fries were served as Hi-Tea. The pool is huge and is located at the geographical center of the resort. Swimwear is mandatory for the Pool usage. Cafe Solaire (where the food is served) is right opposite to the pool. The service was very good and the staff were courteous. A day well spent !! Thanks for the "good-deal" voucher, Thrillophilia !!

Nature Adventure Camp in Kanakapura | Book @ ₹1399 Only

 Rated : 5.0

We visited the camp on April 22nd, me, my husband and our two kids. Despite being summer and its too hot and humid, we had a lot of fun with the different activities they lined up for us. The food was decent and the nature was awesome. The staff was very courteous and tend to our every need. When the night fall the breeze was so cool and we had a peaceful sleep in the tent without any mosquito. Next day the trek was moderate and we were pleasantly surprised as our 5 year old daughter was able to complete the trail. We were a bit skeptical because of the negative reviews but had an awesome relaxing time at the camp.

Highly recommended. We were a large family of 10 members, including children & aged parents & who booked package for Meghalaya & Shillong experiences. The host & their team where real caring, be it food, guidance, knowledge of local must things to do & we felt very homely. The homestay was excellent for cleanliness, hospitability, being tucked away from the chaos of the city, yet easily accessible to all amenities. Everyone of family were highly indebted to this wonderful hospitality & experience.

Meghalaya.. A journey worth a mention!!! In this materialistic world, it is indeed necessary for a person to break free every now & then, enjoy mother nature to stay fresh & get our inner strength back. Last month, it was my time to break free & what can suit better than a trip to Meghalaya, one of the seven sister states of North East. After careful review, I decided to proceed with this team & It proved not to be a wrong decision. The tour plans, hospitality, arrangements, time management were absolutely perfect I should say. More than that this team knows this part of India like back of their hand, which made us comfortable & feel safe. I could feel the mother earth in its purest form through their well-planned itinerary. I could see the beauty of nature through its falls, forest, rivers, & caves. The team ensured to take us to many unexplored places which was really adventurous. The team also took us to some villages wherein we could learn and mingle with the villagers & learn their culture. The trip was relaxing & thanks to the team for the wonderful arrangements throughout the trip to keep us fresh, relaxed & ensuring that we enjoy every bit of the trip. Kudos to the team for their wonderful work… Hope to see you guys soon in my next trip…

The difficulty for trek was easy , however the real challenge was the cave exploration. The trek started at around 1.30 and along with cave exploration got completed by 3.30. Coordinator Rakesh, Baba and Swamy all were very cooperating and tolerant to some noisy people ( it was a crowd actually ). We spent the night under the stars with the bonfire. Thr trip ended by having a sumptuous breakfast while returning to Bangalore. Overall the entire trip was very good and we would love to have upcoming trips with thrillophilia.

A great team out to refresh your mind from the daily work pressure and tensions. The interior was well designed. We were a group of 30 people and divided into 4 or 5 groups and each group tried different games. Only one of our teams won but the other teams had also great fun. We don’t even realize how one hour runs. We have to find the clues, read it and interpret it and then find the locks. Time just runs. The clues were tricky most of the times. But had a great time inside. The winners played the Lucy’s haunted house game.

Leh Ladakh Bike Tour

We decided to go on this bike trip last July. The whole trip was arranged very well. We also had an amazing tour guide with us. Once we reached Leh we were given our bikes for the tour. The bikes were all very well maintained. We started out trip from Sarchu and trust me guys it was one of the best rides ever. The serene mountains and the valleys made it all perfect for us. Our accommodation and services were brilliant. They took care of everything for us. The food was good as well. As we were more than 10 people on this trip there was a backup jeep that was following us throughout the trip. We also had camping in this package which was another interesting thing for us. Camping under the clear night sky with a bonfire by the shining lake was the best experience ever. Although it was a bit cold but the warm camps made us feel more relaxing. We rode through the highest motorable pass as well. Altogether it was a great trip.

The trip made my year I should say. We went in August and after that I was so happy throughout the year. Though the cold was letting us fall sick somewhere in between, we could finish the trip well. The Himalayas always surprised me. The bike trip was giving me more surprises than I imagined. Looking forward to do yet another Ladakh trip this time. I don’t know what is special about this place but I am not the only one who wishes to go to the beautiful location again and again. Last time, I remember, we were a group of more than 15 or so people. The sound of the bullet was everywhere and it was echoing after touching the mountains I thought. The team was really nice and we did not feel that we were from different places and background. We helped each other to pitch tents, we shared extra food we carried like biscuits and all. Totally it was a flawless trip. I thank the guides as well. They were with us for anything, any help we needed.

Like the motorcycle diaries of Che Guevera, I wanted to write my diary of Ladakh motorcycle trip. It was a smashing trip for me as it took me to have months long preparation before and practicing bike ride on off roads so often. I came across too many different places during the trip, passes, high altitude places, crossed rivers too. It was an unforgettable tour for me.

We went on this amazing bike trip to Ladakh from Delhi and trust me guys it was one of the best. We had the very best people attending us to our services while our stay at hotel. As for the food it was delicious. The roads, the serenity, the valleys and the snow capped mountains made it all more perfect for us. We were passing through some of the best views of the region. While riding through the highest motorable road, Khardungla Pass it was the best feeling ever. You will remain speech once you visit Nubra valley. We also had an amazing guide with us who was very informative and was giving us detailed about each of the place. Our fuel was included with the package and so we didn’t had to worry much. Our visit to Pangong and Tso Mori Lake were another best part. Loved the whole trip. Would definitely love to visit again.

A memorable trip with my friends. I thought a lot before booking this trip. But my friends told me I had to have good physical fitness to protect myself from the cold and everything else will be fine. Thus I joined the team. There were other tourists also with us. Together we had a good time in an amazing place. Though I like to take photographs, most of the times I forgot to click the pictures because I wanted to enjoy the beauty of Ladakh with my naked eyes. I was asking the guide with us to explain the importance of each location we covered. He has been guiding a hundred teams for last some years, so he knew everything about the location and he even clearly knew when we should camp and when we should stop cycling and all. The team with him was very supportive and helping. Totally, a very good trip.
