Pangarchulla Peak Trek, Uttarakhand | Book @ Flat 27% off

Two most unique places in North India perfect for trekking are Kuari Pass and Pangarchula Peak. The ravishing beauties located at the top most portions create some of the amazing sights to be witnessed and photographed. I selected this trek to explore the significant places around the Himalayas and watch the blend of natural elements in the right proportion. I was stunned to see these two locations. Both these places are ideal for backpacking trips. Solo travelers would be enjoying the challenging routes very well. If you are perfectly fit, then these two landscaped places should be visited at least once in a lifetime. I have gone there during the normal season without the snow cover and all. But still its beauty was indescribable. The lush greenery and the meadows are the highlights at these two locations. The trekking trails are challenging and filled with difficulties at times. But I have enjoyed the complete routes very well. I have an interest of writing down my travel experiences. After coming back I wrote the detailed description of this trek and I found it was more interesting than I ever imagined. The route from Auli to Khulara was the most beautiful stretch of the whole trek. The region is home to many bird species and sheep and cattle flocks. Since there are large meadows, shepherds come in groups to let their flocks of cattle graze so peacefully. That was a mesmerizing sight for me. Kuari Pass trek trails also have similar sights to visit.

One of the most beautiful and eventful treks in North India is the Pin Parvati Trek. There are hundreds of amazing attractions throughout the route and the serenity is inimitable. The guide was supportive and friendly. We did not have many troubles during the trip except tiredness and delay by the traffic at some places. The fog covered atmosphere looked so pretty every morning. We have been staying in homestays and tents during the tour. The food from the hotels and the homestays was really tasty. For serious trekkers and trek lovers should try doing this amazing trek. The route to Pin Parvathi has a lot of things to unwind to the visitors. Brilliant ones. A photographic place. From the valleys to the greater heights, the trek goes on and at the steep climbs, the trek becomes slightly challenging yet with more excitement. The peaks and cloud touching mountains are the sights seen from Pin Parvathi. Thakur Kuan campsite was the beautiful station with the perfect blend of nature for camping. There were some other groups also in the region camping amidst the pretty nature. This amazing trek will be in my heart always and cherish the moments spent there. This is the first time I am writing any kind of reviews on something anywhere. Since I liked this very much I wanted to suggest it to other people who are looking for amazing treks in India. If you plan some other sightseeing trips along with this trek, then it would be great. Pin Parvathi is simply stunning and full of natural sights. A must visit place.

Ronti Gad, Sangla, Dhaula, Sewa, Rupin Pass and Dehradun were the most beautiful places we covered during the most wonderful trek I have done ever in my life. A group of we 4 planned to go to Rupin Pass for trekking. We found this package of 8 day trip and never thought another second but booked. No words. It is just cool. We did not even realize how those 8 days were gone so fast. We have been trekking through the hill sides and valleys and witnessed the beauty provided by a fresh nature. A lot of places are there en route, some with huts and some with only nature. Streams and rivers add more charm to each place we visited. Both the sides have the tall, commendable attractions created by the Himalayan Mountains. The snow covered peaks have a special beauty I felt. We ourselves pitched the tents in the middle of this beautiful nature and arranged campfire to escape from the exceeding cold. We played music and shared some stories and experiences. It was like a going back to the old memories and days of our lives. Rupin Pass is a picturesque land, when it not winter, we can really identify the original beauty of the area which is full of lush greenery. The steep climbs are also not so heavy. But we need high energy to compete with the trails. We were extremely happy after the trip. There was nothing to comment against the tour. There were some problems like sickness and all as usual. Also food. Other than everything went on well. You can also think about a trekking trip to Rupin Pass with your family or friends on your vacation. Any time is suitable to enjoy the incomparable beauty of this natural wonder.

If you are a trek lover, then you should try Rupin Pass trek. The place become so beautiful during winter. The entire place will be covered in snow and that time is the most challenging to do trekking. We have gone through many villages and valleys to reach the top of Rupin Pass. The routes were simply awesome. Snow-clad peaks were just amazing. Trekking, camping, driving, walking and repeat. This was the routine and the people we found on the road were really friendly. Camping amidst the snow was challenging but I loved it thoroughly. Trek to the Rupin Pass was also challenging due to the cold climate. The group I joined was full of nice people and they helped me a lot during the trek. Also, the guide with us was a native of the region and has been doing the job of a guide for last ten years. He knows everything about the place. We have come across rivers, stream and short waterfalls. The area if filled with green trees but with snow on the leaves. The small villages were looking so simple and beautiful. After the first some distance, every place was deserted only with trees and snow. But we could see a lot of people doing trekking before and after us. That was a great sight to watch. Everyone had the same destination and same kind of excitement. That was amazing to see.

Stok Kangri trek was fixed last minute. No idea I had how this trek will be going to. But my family was also happy to come with me to do the challenging trek. We sought help from Thrillophilia to plan a trip to Stok Kangri along with some other regions in Ladakh for 10 days. It went out nicely than I expected. Firstly, the trip started late due to rain but after it started, the movement was at a steady pace. We went to the starting point of the trek and other places in a jeep and only some distance we covered by trekking. But those stretches were really amazing. The surroundings are full of mountains and rough lands. But Stok Kangri is differently beautiful. Natural beauty at its best. We went to Leh by flight from Mumbai. Met the tour guides there and started our trip. We had fun throughout the trip watching the towering peaks and the huts along the roads. It is a great place for family trips. But the cold climate may let you feel tired and sick but if you prepare well before heading out to the sites, you can escape from being sick.

I am very choosy about the places to visit because I am a corporate employee and I don’t want to waste my time and money at any place. Hence I have enquired about the good places to do trekking in North India and one of my colleagues and another friend of mine suggested to select the Himalayas. One of them suggested Dayara Bugyal which is a skiing place during winter. I thought then I will go for skiing at Dayara Bugyal but unfortunately I could not go last year. I waited for long and then I changed my plan and visited Dayara Bugyal during normal time. Trekking and camping were the options available at that time. To be frank, even trekking was amazing at this location as the places are at high altitude and the routes are bravely astounding. Forests, valleys, meadows, small streams, narrow paths, heights and so on. You will never get bored. I went with one of my friends from college. We joined a team of other 10 people at Hairdwar where the trip started. We visited different temples too on the way. Stay was arranged in hotels and at Barnala and Dayara Bugyal, we did camping. Oh my god, such a ravishing beauty. Both the places are apt for simple camping. The nature brings comfort at its best. Campfire kept us bonded through the nights. We shared a lot of experiences with each other. Played some games and had food together. A variety of beautiful moments came to us. The tour organizers were also with us. Three or four people. They were very careful about the food and accommodation and I am thankful to them for organizing the trip very beautifully. It was a moderate to challenging trek but I completely enjoyed it. The misty mornings were the most spectacular time throughout the tour. The tall peaks of the Himalayas were clearly visible during the trekking trip from the top of some of the hills and from Dayara Bugyal too. The exotic surrounding made me think not to go back home. Such a nice place it is.

No words to comment about the Valley of flowers. Except there was a situation when the tour was postponed the first time I booked, everything else regarding this trip was good. The group we joined was helpful. We shared water and food with each other. I found the food provided by the service providers not enough to conquer the challenges in front of us. Many of the times, we ate Maggi noodles which do not provide any nutrient. But we carried biscuits and energy bars. So, we were feeling better at the end of each day. To be true, Valley of Flowers is a must visit. During the season, we can see a lot of flowers even though the names are not familiar. Different colours will be all over the valley without showing the greenery. One of my friends who is a photographer clicked thousand photos I think. The tour organizers had one back up vehicle coming behind the trekking group. Anyway, continuously we could not climb the altitudes. We had to take several breaks in between. The seven day trip was full of energetic climbs and camping was also nice. Maggi, eggs, tea, rice and roti, dal etc were the food items provided by the service providers. At night, it was so cold and many of the team members fell sick and had to take medicines to continue the trip. Boots, jackets, warm clothes, altitude sickness preventive medicines etc should be carried any time you visit the Himalayas. And be fit before you head out to do trekking otherwise, you will be really tired. If you plan the trip according to your budget and time, Valley of Flowers trek can be the best team trip.

A trek to the valley of flowers was something I have been looking forward to do for a long time. Finally, it happened in this July. I am a regular trekker, but Valley of Flowers was a new experience apart from every other trekking expeditions I have done. I went alone there. The most important thing I noticed here is the number of people who come to visit the valley. There were old age people also who were more energetic than the youngsters. Bikers were also there, mostly Royal Enfiled riders. I did not book through any tour operator but alone. I heard that going with a guide will help us very much to know more about the place but still I decided to go alone and I planned it for one week. Hence I visited some other places in the Himalayas. From different websites I understood the things to be taken during the tour. July was not that cold and the snow cover was comparatively less. Yet the wind was slightly cold so that I had to wear jackets throughout. Valley of Flowers was really beautiful. I have not seen so many flowers as in the pictures of it found somewhere online yet there were a lot of meadows with different flowers. The surrounding was actually soothing. I took hundreds of photos in my mobile phone. The names of flowers I saw there were unknown to me but I enjoyed the beauty very well. Since I have gone in my bike, some portions were difficult for me to cross but still I sought help from some of the people I met on the road to get the correct direction. I went to Leh also after the trip. But I got to know that many of the troupes coming to visit the Valley of Flowers seek the help of different tour organizers to make the tour easy. I am also thinking to do an extensive Himalayan trip next time with the help of some tour organizers. Also, I recommend Valley of Flowers from the bottom of my hearts to everyone.

Two of the most beautiful lakes in North India are the Beas Kund and Bhrigu Lake. Both of them are located in the middle of cherish-able location. I am a solo traveler and I have been visiting many places in North India continuously for last five years. Some places I have visited more than 3 times in these five years. But Bhrigu Lake and Beas Kund Lake were missed until last January when the climate was adverse to do trekking or a visit to the many places in North India. The lakes were also filled with snow. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. But sad about the fact that I could not enjoy the real beauty of these lakes when water is blue and the surrounding is green, completely. I went till the base point by my bike and then I met some group from Mumbai doing trekking and they were camping there. I asked them about the routes and all and they were also yet to start trekking. So I though I just join them while trekking and stay will be arranged myself somewhere near. Anyway I had my bike with me. Hence I was not worried about the stay. Also there was a chance to get tents at the base. The steep climbs were actually challenging me and I was eagerly waiting for the whole night on my arrival day to conquer those climbs at a fast pace. It was my nineteenth trekking trip to the Himalayas. It was equally challenging as some other treks I have done in Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir. I reached till 14000 feet height and from the top, the whole region looked so glamorous. Honestly. It was the most scenic location in Himachal Pradesh. Both the lakes have special features. But the ice sheets on them did not let me enjoy its real beauty well. May be the next time, I will be able to go there during the time both of them are in their real colours. But guys, try this trekking trip. You will be amused.

But I thought I should write something about the trek to Kareri Lake. An irresistible place is Kareri Lake and the neighbourhood. It is full of greenery and some rocks. The Himalayan ranges are in the background. Oh God, I never felt such an amazing feeling in my life ever. It was so cold throughout the routes. But it was not winter too. There was no rain as well. Hence the complete trip was awesome. I became the fan of Himachal Pradesh within no time. My cousins were asking me what happened now and all. But to be true, I was gradually liking the place and the trekking. Camping amidst the celebrity nature was something really special. The soothing music of the wind was in my heart and still echoes.

One of the most beautiful treks I have ever done is Kedarkantha trek in Uttarakhand. I went there with a group of 4 people. My cousins and I. That was the best time I had. The camping we have done during the trekking trip was the major factor which made the trip extremely adventurous. The serenity and the beauty of the place were unimaginable. Most of the routes were going through forest ranges and some of them were filled with bushes and tall trees. Small villages came up in between with small huts and some kids playing in front of their houses. That was an eye catching visual. The whole trip was delayed for hours because of the rain happened at regular intervals. I was getting frustrated then. But when we reached the Kedarkantha, I was really stunned. The tall mountain peaks were arranging some amazing sights for us and we saw the Yamunotri and Gangotri ranges. Very peaceful location. The organizers arranged beautiful camp sets at the base points. The tents were of good quality and the sleeping beds were also of good quality. Since it was raining, the cold atmosphere was there all the time. But it did not kill the fun of the trip. Campfire was not there since every evening, it was drizzling. We missed the fun hidden in that. Otherwise, the trek and the walking around the place was admirable. I am not exaggerating but telling the truth. Kedarkantha is a joyous place for family trips and adventure special activities. I want to try skiing on the snow next time.

What a place is Kedarkantha. I was surprised to watch the place and the serenity. It was snow everywhere and saw many people doing skiing there. I was not prepared to do that much adventure. Hence tried the trekking trip to the top of the snow-covered peaks. It was overwhelming. We started the trip from Delhi in a tempo traveler. I and my family, my cousins, and three friends were in the group. Everyone was really excited. From Dehradun, the tour provider was also there with us. Food was from the hotels and shops we saw on the roads and accommodation was in the hotels which the tour organizer had business with. At two places we did camping. That was the best camping experience. The snow cover was thick but the tents were of good quality so that the chilling atmosphere was away from entering the tents. Blankets, extra bed sheets, jackets and sweaters. Oh my god, we looked like Eskimo. Skking was something really amazing to watch. A lot of people were there doing skiing on the thick cover of snow. We were not prepared for the activity. Still we had the heart to do that adventure. But we kept it for some other time. Yamuna and Tons Rivers were seen in the beginning of the trip towards Sankri. Those rivers were flowing so beautifully as the pine forests on their shores were standing as the protectors. All the mountains peaks we reached were standing tall with their heads high and the views from the top were amazing. We waited for a long time to see sunrise. But due to the heavy fog in the morning, sunrise was not so good to watch. But sunrise from the riverside was really amazing. It was the best photograph among the photos I clicked. A picture perfect place is Kedarkantha and I think everyone should plan at least a short trip to this marvelous site.

The food was delicious and our group had fun before the campfire. All in all, it was one weekend I won't forget for long time. The guide was very entertaining too with all his stories (mostly cooked up). Organizers were very helpful and always with us. Valley of Flowers Trek with Hemkund Sahib 2022: Flat 27% off

The trek to the valley of flowers was my first in the Himalayas although I had trekked a lot in the Western ghats. Overall it was easy as there was a well laid out path and lots of fellow trekkers of all ages although there were some minor problems in breathing and due to rain. The support provided by the organizers Hike to Himalayas was excellent. They advised on the outfits needed like shoes, ponchos and helped people shop for the missing items. The support provided by the guides was wonderful and we never felt lost or overcome by the situations. During our return from Badrinath to Joshimath, the road was blocked by landslide and we were forced to trek over a hill to reach the other side where vehicles were waiting for us. The only suggestion for improvement is to pre-allot the rooms at the hotels so that check-in formalities can be simplified. Also, the Himalaya Hotel at Ghangria may do well by cleaning the rooms in the evening. Overall, I was glad that I used their services rather than doing it on my own and it was worth it. Going through them also gave us several companions and our group was able to enjoy better together whereas going on our own would have been lonely and boring. The scenic views of the Himalayas and the valley of flowers were breathtaking. Some tourists complained that it was nothing like the unrealistic photoshopped images that you see on the internet/thrillophilia like advertisements but it is not the fault of the Himalayas !!.
