Just saw the Goecha La trek video once and I knew this will be my next trek! The experience of trekking to a height of 16,000 ft. was way above any other experience. Among all the challenging Himalayan treks, this one really needs a shot!

The Trek To Rathong Glacier In Sikkim is a special, novel, and unique experience that I am excited and happy about sharing with you all. I remember reading about the famous treks in India in a travel blog and places like Gangotri, Kilimanjaro, Rathong were listed. I used to wonder what is so great about this place that most of the magazines gave such rave reviews about. When I saw the images of this place, I realized what a beauty this place indeed is. I since then have this place in my wish list of treks to take. I, however, did not find time or a perfect trek partner to go on this trek with. Finally when I did happen to take this trek, I was spell bound by the beauty of this trek. This place is beyond words – Absolute Brilliance and Class.

We had so much fun on this trek as we were all a group p of trekking enthusiasts from different parts of the city who connected on Facebook and decided to go on the trek. The Goecha trekking experience was beyond anything. We had seen the Goecha la trek video but nothing couyld have prepared us for the real deal.

Sikkim is one of the most beautiful places on earth. This is also a trekking paradise for those who are into this adventure. Among the various trekking destinations in Sikkim, Goechala Trek To Rathong Glacier In Sikkim is the best and well known trekking destination. It is such a beauty. Trekking here is such a brilliant experience. I had a great trek. I am so glad that I was able to take this trek. I loved it.

Once in a lifetime kind of experience: Generally, I thought Leh and Ladakh were all about just biking, but I was totally taken aback when I took this trip. Firstly, kudos to the team for organizing this brilliantly well. Secondly, this is something that should be enjoyed as a group so I am glad that I came across this package. Overall, this was worth my time, and indeed this is one of my best vacations.

This is the trek, me and my 3 friends were looking forward for and finally got to complete it. The overall trek was an amazing experience for all of us. Fascinating views of the snow covered peaks, magical beauty of the valleys and the friendly trek staffs just made our journey awesome all the way. But yeah, one needs to be physically fit and also get acclimatized before starting the trek as the oxygen level is less in that altitude.

This is the trek where beauty and fascination lies in every turn. From the starting to the end, the experience has been awesome. Alongside the trek, the other offerings of the trek kept us engrosses in unlimited fun and excitement. Even the locals of this region are very friendly. The instructions and suggestions of the porters came handy in overcoming the hurdles and difficulties on the way.

It was an amazing trekking expedition...Though short but quite steep and rocky terrain....Caming is not easy since at night the temperature gets too low. But for sight exploring stok kangri seems to be an ideal location. You can spot the beautiful Indus river, Leh city and the zanskar ranges too.

The journey of heaven starts from stok village , i experienced an unique feeling after exploring the beautiful region of old hemis and gompa regions on our fourth day of trekking. Explored all nearby villages and monasteries, we also interacted with local villagers and shepherds.

I was damn excited for trekking in Hampta valley and finally I had it in June 2014 . It was completely an out of the box experience. I prefer going for such short trek, where you can not only pursue some adventurous activity but can also explore the natures beauty. The long standing trees,beautiful wild flowers ,snow capped mountains and small hot river streams is what makes it unique package for trekking lovers and nature enthusiasts

Well guys apart from trekking camping and sightseeing adventure, you can also enjoy bird and animal spotting .Sometimes uncertain snowfall and rainfall can be seen over the valley. Hampta village is a small populated area of Hampta Pass, people are really nice and supportive . This beautiful Hampta pass actually connects kullu and Lahul village . Talking about trekking trails then it is moderate, and starter can also embark upon the hills easily. A remarkable place to visit.

Wow what a trek ,outstanding if you are a beginner like me then do not waste your time hunting for best trekking expectations, just come to this Hampta Pass trek , it is for you only. Clean ,well managed and enriched with nature's beauty. Gorgeous mountains will keep you going and the dense green forest will make you feel fresh always . A short trekking adventure of four days comes in your budget too. Lovely experience at lovely place.

Guys if any of you are planning to start any trekking expedition then this what you must go for, personally speaking embarking on Hamta Pass Trek is so amazing, easy trek and wonderful sceneries . When you reach the heights everything looks smaller like an ant, with white snows all over the place the place looks enchanting. after returning back i was like why did i got back, should have spent more time there.

Awesome place! Nothing can beat Hampta pass when it comes to natural beauty. spent some really good times with my friends in such a beautiful and peaceful place. the location is perfect, close to manali but yet away from the huste and tourist of manali. this gave me to start my himalayan adventure!

PROUD INDIAN! Yes, if you haven’t visited the beautiful Hampta pass yet, it is time for you to mark your dates in the calendar. There are sparkling streams and glaciers here that you can even drink from, they are that pure. The nice little town of Manali is lovely and the 6 day trek is worth every penny you pay, had an unforgettable experience here in Hampta pass.

A six day trek in one of the most beautiful valleys of India; Kullu and Lahaul made me see how beautiful our country is. Please visit this place asap! Get family and friends along! The last part of our tr backpack and boots and be on yorek ended at the beautiful Chatru which was our meeting point. Strap on your backpack and be on your way to this heavenly place.

Manali is a such an awesome place both for travellers and trekkers. i enjoyed both , trekking along the Hampta Pass was an iconic experience , with beautiful routes, breathtaking views of the endless snow capped valleys and mountains.

This place is certainly a fairy tale inspired land that looks like a romantic movie location. our entire group was feeling lucky on the visit the place. The group photos taken still makes us feel the adventure.

I won't say it was a hard trek. Also, one of the short treks that you can find in the Himachal valley. Views of the glaciers, the mountains, Hampta River are all sight to enjoy. And as it offers lesser amount of challenges it is fair for everyone to do this trek at least once!

It was my wife’s wish to visit some place in the Himalayas. Many places came to our mind. One day I found this tour on Thrillophilia and I contacted them. I called them during December or January this year and they said that it was not season and wait for two three months and book later. Thus I waited and booked the tour in July. We went to join a small group from Manali. As people say, Manali itself is so beautiful. Then I was thinking about Hampta Pass and other places. How beautiful would they be? My wife was also so happy to see the places. We trekked through the beautiful regions, visited some landmarks and buildings and also a local house. The tea from the house was awesome. I have never tasted such a tea from anywhere. Eventually, we reach the Hampta Pass and Shea Goru. Both were so beautiful and from the high altitude, it is a different feeling to see the nearby places and the Himalayas were standing tall with their heads high. Snow fall was not there hence that sight we just imagined in our mind. The locals were friendly and offered us some local dishes and snacks. The guides were from Kashmir and north regions and they were helping us throughout. The only problem I felt was about food. Roti, vegetable curry, Maggi, bread etc were the items and they were not providing enough energy to us to climb the steep trails. Other than that, there was not much difficulties we found during the tour. I think, everyone can try this trekking if you are an adventure lover.
