It's a pleasant and peaceful homestay away from the main city of Chikmagalur. Extremely amiable hospitality was provided by the hosts. One of them came down all the way to the main road to guide us till the homestay. It's the perfect place for anyone who wants to get away from the noises of the city or the ringing of the mobiles ;-) All you can hear are the birds chirping all day long and its accompanied with the well-grown plants and their flowers in the homestay. We were greeted with a welcome drink on arrival. The food was wonderful, tasty and of sufficient variety and quantity, and was provided at the time we requested it to be provided. Tea & coffee were also available in the evening and morning. The stay was also comfortable with comfortable beds and spreads. There's a coffee estate nearby ( we couldn't visit it as we were on a tight schedule already ). Campfire is organised at night after 8 pm in the midst of trees and coffee plants and in the dark, and it feels really awesome. There's a small empty space in front of the homestay where you can play a simple cricket game or sit and chat :) The hosts were very friendly, flexible and ready to help us anytime. Overall, I would strongly recommend this as a perfect "weekend getaway" from Bangalore, to go and relax without any tension or man-made noises :)

Brilliant camp for sure. Great hosts and facilities, can do with more activities though, you feel restless and bored otherwise. Campfire can be accompanied with some soft music and nearby forest walk can be arranged until the waterfall Trek begins.

It was one of the wonderful experience. The guides were down to earth and helped us in every situation. The team were so punctual and stuck to the timeline they had provided to us. The food was amazing and the overall experience was beyond words.

The team at the reception were very helpful in helping us pick a game. We played Bank Heist and it was a fun experience. You could almost visibly see the energy rise and the team really came together. We have all decided that we will definitely go back for another game.

It was one of my best weekend trips. I was kinda little caught up in something so could not write a feedback of this beautiful place, got delayed. Let me explain how: * Place: Its a very small homestay with 3-4 rooms which can accommodate less the 20-25 people. So it's not at all crowded. Surrounded by lush greenery and scenic beauty. Yes, it is inside a coffee estate! So you can expect a peaceful stay. Rooms are ok. * Food: One of the best Mangalorean cuisine I have tested. A reasonable number of dishes served hot. They give breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, dinner. And all buffet style and all included in the package. I must tell you, Bhaskar anna ( the caretaker ) prepares it very well. If you really want a traditional food(veg+non veg) + homestay in peaceful location then go for it. * Surroundings: It is inside a 50+ acre coffee estate! full of greenery, coffee plants and a beautiful river stream going through the estate. It was really amazing. Water was chilling cold. We had a heavenly experience there. * Hospitality: Bhaskar anna the caretaker really look after everything with his team of a male and a female helper. He himself sometimes takes the tourists on his jeep for safari ride! Evenings are even cheerful with the campfire with hot pakode, bhaji etc served right on your table near the campfire. I went there with my family during winter so I can say it was cold there. There is not much of adventure sports/activity out there. You will get cricketing stuff and football. You can take your own stuff if you are planning a group activity. The owner himself was present to oversee things. I spoke to him. He was trying his best to offer a memorable hospitality. * things to remember: - not much adventure/sports activity there. take your own stuff - don't forget the take trekking shoes - must visit waterfalls nearby - 3-4 rooms with 4-6 beds/room - veg and non-veg food If you really want to escape the hustle bustle of the city and just chill at a peaceful homestay with heavenly traditional food then this is the place! Had a superb day at Our native village on May 11th. As promised we were totally transported to a village setting and were able to play a lot of village games also bull o cart riding milking of a cow and pottery were great. Staff were friendly and paid a lot of attention to the guest to have a good time. Food was quite nice and lavish. Thanks for the great time team our native village.
