It was an awesome experience. First Trekking of my life and I just couldn't have expected any more than this. It had all i could wish for to do in 2 days - Trekking, Bonfire, Camping, Yummy food and Lovely Peoples. Thanks alot Habeeb, Jabir and Avinash for organising it all so well. No complaints at all. Jabir u were great, without your motivation couldn't have reached that height. Absolutely looking forward for more experience with you guys. You guys are great.

The awesome journey started from the station Kathgodam itself where we could see the ubiquitous Pine and Fir trees that we had seen previously only in TV. We had a warm welcome from the UTT staff in Lohajung where we plucked some peaches and relished along with the briefing. We met the trek leaders, cook, support staff and fellow group members with whom we were to live like a family for the next 7 days. Along with the heavenly environment, the people with their simple ways won permanent place inside us. On the 2nd day we trekked to Didna village via Kuling - 12 kms stretch, half road and other half mountains and valleys. The family who had given us home stay in Didna village welcomed us with Rhododendron drinks. By this time natural spring water had been inveterate to us. Next day trek was to Bedni Bugyal via Ali Bugyal, the most beautiful and largest meadows of Asia - 12 kms stretch. For the first time I saw real snow before my eyes when Mount Trishul and Nanda Ghunti came in front of us. We faced heavy rainfall along the way where the ponchos and waterproof shoes became handy and saved us the whole trek. Next day was a 4 km trek to Pathar Nachauni. Each place has its own fascinating fable and folk lore described to us by the Trek leaders - Raghu, Rajat, Pradeep, Uday, etc. Next was another 4 km trek to Bhagwabasa where a little AMS started to peek in and temperature dropped steeply. Folowing early morning 0300 hrs, we started on the steep 3km trek to Roopkund crossing land, waterfalls, snow and ice; and it was all heavenly out there when we could see the ice covered lake with snow surrounding it like a white glass. We returned to Bhagwabasa the same day by evening. And next day descended to Lohajung via Wan village - 12 kms. Now having returned it feels, some part of our lives could never come back from those mountains.

Roopkund is a beautiful trek with heart-filling views throughout the trek. You travel from forests to meadows to rocky areas to snow in a matter of 4 days with landscape changing every day. Trek though tiring is worth trying even for beginners & first timers (like me). You just need to follow the trek leaders' guidelines and nothing can stop you from reaching the summit. Everything was decently arranged by Thrillophillia & UTT (local agency whose part we were). The only downside was that our group size was large around 28 people and we were mostly running behind the schedule. Food was okay, you can really not expect a lot when in mountains.Prepare for the trek in advance and if possible keep a day extra in reserve. Carry spare clothes and prepare for rain extensively because the weather in the bugyals & beyond is very unpredictable and you should be ready for everything. Must do trek. All the Best....

One hell of an experience!!! Had the time of my Life. It was just awesome at the peak of Tadiandamol. It was a moderate trek not too hard, good for beginners like me. The leeches and rain won't be a concern once you reach there, The leeches are really small and it doesn't really matter when you are with a bunch of great friends (who were unknown though but became really good once we started our trek). The TT was good, food was delicious, the Homestay was superb, Washrooms were clean. They had also arranged barbeque and campfire for us, which was AMAZING!! It was my First Trek and literally, I have no complaints about this. They help a lot in completing the trek if you are about to give up (like I was) !! They had also arranged bicycles for us, but we couldn't wake up the other morning after trekking. :D And at last we all danced in TT while returning back. Btw the feeling after finishing the trek is ineffable. Habeeb, Avinash, Shahid and Danny-Hats off to you guys for all the arrangements throughout. You guys are Great! :)

It was a wonderful experience to gaze lovingly the serenic godly mountains at Triund. The huge divine hills do not fail to mesmerise oneself. Do not miss to meditate at the top of hill. Just close your eyes and feel the presence of the mountains and you. Our guide and all the people who served us food were extremely friendly and generous. The atmosphere was safe and secure. Also, do not miss the sun rising early in the morning from the Himalayan dhauladar range of mountains. Value for money deal. Happy trekking!

Although we reached late from the stipulated time, the organizers were kind enough to help us complete the activities. This package is worth every penny with 2 yummy meals for lunch and dinner a buffet breakfast, evening snacks and tea. They also arranged for a bonfire all night, with a DJ playing music. The highlight, however, was the sunrise trek. It's located in the outskirts of blore, not very far from the city. Yet the place is a nature's gift. Consider this for a weekend detox from the city.

It was great experience. Nothing was out of order. We were allowed to start the trek at 5pm. Thanks for that. We reached the top before 8 and the moment you reach there, thats one of the greatest feelings you ll ever get. The facilities provided at the top are more than sufficient. Don't miss the sunrise. Let that moment sink in. I close my eyes and I see the sunrise. I think that says enough. This was my first trek but many more are coming.

It was an amazing experience for me and my daughter as we camped for the first time. The place was safe,clean and most importantly the host and his family were perfect and very warm people. Bahadur took very good care of us. Overall a fascinating experience. We will come back.

I had visited on March 31st and April 1st for 2 days at your estate. It was a great stay we had. I and 3 more friends were there at your estate and we enjoyed all the activities that were available there - including the shuttle court, and a friendly German shepherd Blackie with whom I enjoyed playing with (I myself have a dog at home). The food was tasty and was served to perfection. Service was also prompt. The staff were very courteous and happy to help with whatever we required. The best part about the staff was that they would all work with a smile on their faces and cheerfully attend to every request of ours, no matter how small. Special thanks to Mr. Asif Ali who was the manager in charge when we stayed. He managed our stay to perfection. He was in fact very knowledgeable and told us quite a few things about living in the estate, the lifecycle of the coffee crops, and took us on a 1 hour morning walk through the estate. When we were wondering about which places to visit during the day, he was even kind enough to suggest us Mullayanagiri peak (which we never had any plan of visiting but later enjoyed driving up the peak in our car). As far as the rooms and the attached baths are concerned, they were flawless and all the bed linen were spotless white. This goes a long way in showing the commitment towards cleanliness. I didn't find anything to complain about, except for the approach road from the main road highway to the estate house. I drove in my Hyundai Accent which is quite a low car and had to watch that my car bottom didn't get scraped on the rough, stone road. I expect this will be fixed in a short while since the resort seemed to be fairly new when we went. Overall, I think this resort is offering excellent value for money for the tariff that they are charging and what they are providing, compared to other homestays in Chikmagalur. I would definitely like to visit here again when I come to Chikmagalur next
