  • This January, you are getting yet another opportunity to taste the beauty of wilderness from a height of 2969 feet when you are on the top of Linagana, a mammoth pinnacle on the Sahyadris between Raigad and Torna.
  • The pinnacle situates just 35 KM away from Mahad Taluka of Raigad District. It has got its name because of its shape that resembles a linga.
  • A trekking to the summit along with some breath taking activities such as rock climbing and rappelling will prompt you feel amused throughout.
  • Challenges during climbing come in the second half, the trail is of four miles pure ascend, and the destroyed rock cut steps will add on to the challenge somewhat.
  • The 2500 sq.ft wide fort on the top that is almost inaccessible will extend a therapeutic view and the wilderness existing offers plenty of beautiful moments to you.
  • This packages provides you with food, accommodation and transportation from Aundh, Pune to the site and return after the activities.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    You will be picked up from Aundh, Pune around 06:00 AM.

    On the way, take a stop to have breakfast at around 08:00 AM.

    Continue your journey to reach the base camp around 11:30 AM. Post which a briefing about the activity will be given to you and get your lunch packed.

    Afterwards, get ready to begin the trek around 12:00 noon.

    It will take almost 1 hour to reach Lingana base where you will have lunch and rest for sometime.

    Later, by 02:00 PM, start the rock climbing.

    The ultimate fun comes at the time of dinner that would be served on the top of the rock and retire for the night, sleeping under the starry sky.

  • Day 2 -

    Freshen up early morning. As there will not be any restrooms on the top, you are requested to freshen up in the wilderness around.

    Post which, climb up to the peak. You will reach the summit around 10:00 AM.

    Explore the summit for sometime before you prepare to face more adventure during rappelling that starts by 11:00 AM.

    After the exhilarating activity, start trekking back to the base.

    At the base, you will spend some time relaxing and by 06:00 PM, start your return journey to Pune.
