Itinerary

• Day 1 -

  Upon arrival in Diu, travel toward the hotel and check-in.

  After some time head out to explore the location on your own.

  Diu is a beach town, which is located in the district of Diu, in Daman and Diu Union Territory.

  Basically a fishing town, Diu is counted amongst the least populated areas of the country. It was once an important trading port as well.

  Nearby your hotel, there would be beaches where you can indulge in some of the exhilarating water sports if you wish to.

  Stay overnight at the hotel.

• Day 2 -

  Sightseeing in Diu

  Get ready to do an extensive sightseeing tour of Diu today after breakfast at the hotel.

  It will include old churches and historic forts.

  Firstly, on the way, visit Gangeshwar Temple, which is situated near the seashore and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The five shivlingas, mainly established by Pandavas during their exile are the highlight of this place.

  Then proceed to visit Panikotha Fort which resembles the shape of a ship. Take a boat from Diu jetty to reach the spot and spend some quality time over there. Upon reaching, you can also witness a chapel and a lighthouse in the vicinity.

  Diu Fort is worth visiting as it holds centuries old history with it. Surrounded by the sea on all the three sides, the fort has only remnants now.

  After concluding the sightseeing tour, spend rest of the time as you wish and later get back to your hotel for your stay.

• Day 3 -

  Departure from Diu

  After checking out from the hotel, get transferred to the airport or railway station for your departure.
