Kedarkantha trekking gave me opportunity to see some other famous locations like Mussoorie, Naitwar and Purola. One of my friend had recommend this trekking a long ago and finaaly i got the opportunity to discover the himalayan beauty. After some points like Purola right, care is required to embark on the rocky terrain. When i was in my camp, i tried to surf internet but the lack of mobile network was slightly dissapointing to me.

Our journey started when we arrived at Dehradun and from there we were picked to our nearest point Sankari, and then to the juda-ka-talab and there we had set up our first camp. It took around four hours to reach to our first point, and it was a nice journey for us. We got some time to relax in the evening. Next day after having breakfst we headed towards our next destination.

Snow peaks all around: The Kedar kantha trek will amaze you. In fact, the base camp by itself will impress you the moment you step on it. The full view of famous mountain summits around is sheer pleasure. When I got into the Kedar kantha summit, I felt like touching the sky. Over here all the summits are at eye level. I had a really good time. I loved this totally.
