Trekking to the Kedarkantha Trek is the best thrilling experience we had. The trek goes through beautiful trails and even a lake is known as Juda Lake which was frozen in winters. Seeing the local life in between was interesting and the entire trek entertains with amazing views.

Kedarkantha is one of the most amazing and fascinating treks even for experienced trekkers. The beauty of the treks can be best seen from the summit.

Kedar Kantha is the trek that you must be taking now. It was the best trek ever. The trek is brilliant. There is no trek like this at all. This is even listed as the most terrific and terrifying snow treks ever. I had a really great time with this trek. It was awesome. Also this trek was not that expensive too.

Wao what a beautiful place it was, just can not understand why it was unknown and undeiscovered to me...!!! Absolute the land of paradise for trekkers and nature lovers. Before starting my adventure i had searched a lot about the location in internet as well. Saw the dense forest of pine trees and oak. Well there were many campsites but above all i loved to spend time in the Hargaon camp, which was just awesome.

Kedarkantha trek is absolutely the first choice for the trekkers if himalayan trekking is considered. Having a moderate trekking trail with a cover of beauty all arround makes it even more suitable for treeking expedition. The nearby pine trees are really big and there are many flat grounds where a camp can be set up easily. One such campsite was the Juda-Ka-Talab campsite which was a perfect place and the Kedarkantha Base also.

The trek was exciting and awesome. It was just the best place to trek and have camps. Doing it in winter was the biggest good decision that I took in my life. It was an awesome and a nice experience that I had recently. I loved it totally. The trek was indeed costly, but it was totally worthy for the experience that I gathered.

The trek was good. One may not call it great, but this trek was fine and interesting. It was neither too costly nor too cheap. It was of moderate level difficulty. The only issue with this trek was that the food and stay options were pretty lousy. It was indeed a fine trek. This trek needs a lot of stamina, so take this only if you are fit enough.

A big tip from me to you, if you are taking this trek is that take this trek in winter. Winter in India is pretty confusing. Actually, not many know but on the Kedarkantha trek, the winter snow will only set in by the middle of December. The good news is that it will last until the last week of April. Most people blindly take this in October thinking that is the winter time, but no. Take this in January that is the best time to take this trek. I took it this January 3rd week and I came across snow? just as I crossed the 10,000 feet mark. It was amazing to see snow lying on the forest floor among the gigantic pine trees. When I finally reach the meadows, what I saw made me go crazy. I saw a huge blanket of white around me in literally every direction.

The trekking was an amazing experience. This trek definitely has the most gorgeous and ?prettiest? camp sites in the whole Himalayas. I have been on many treks but not all trek sites also has brilliant and boast worthy campsite of its own like the Kedarkantha trek. What is great about this is that each of its campsites are very unique in their beauty. Some of the campsites that I have seen and visited in the past are the The Juda-Ka-Talab, which is a campsite that sits in a subtle clearing that is surrounded by pretty giant pine trees, the Kedar kantha Base campsite is the most original and the best of these campsites. It has an open meadow with snow peaks all around. Finally, the Hargaon camp is also about clearing of pines and oaks. The best part is that it is almost as if each and every one of them actually competes with each other on who is the prettiest.

Awesome Hmalayan trekking experience Guys!!! Actually this place was unknown to many people in the beginning. Sometimes i think i was lucky that i did my first trekking in this beautiful himalayan peak. Kedarkantha becomes even more beautiful in winter season, especially when the snow covers the mountains. While trekking we had reached to 10,000 feet height and it was a great feeling. From the peak point the nature reveals its hidden treasure. Overall it was a memorable act for us.

The drive to Kedarkantha takes you through Mussoorie, Nowgaon, Purola, Mori and Naitwar. It is a remote route so exquisite that it ?is one of the most beautiful drives in the Indian Himalayas. Trekkers need to especially watch out for the section after Purola right until Sankri, the base camp.

We were welcomed by the beautiful meadows, dense pine trees and mighty mountains. The trail started from Juda-ka-talab, which i think was the perfect camping site in our entire trekking expedition. One more thing that i mentioned was that our trail was covered both sides with oak trees on the left and pine trees on the right. the juda-ka-talab trails were flat and you can not spot many mountains right from there. but once you reach the kedarkanth base point you will get the gorgeous views of half snow covered mountains.

Our journey of Kedarkantha trek started with sight seeing of pine and oak forests and those beautiful meadows that stole my heart. It was an absolute pleasure to discover the unseen views of the snow covered mountains. As far as trekking is considered it was a very delightful journey on the the not so though trail, but it was quite long for me. The best part about the trail was that, its covered by leaves which makes us comfortable to walk and embark upon.

The Kedarkantha base was great...What i loved the most was the 360 view of the entire region from the peak point and you will see all the mountain peaks at the same level. i had this fortune with my friends last year and it was a total adventure for me. i miss the moments we spent in camping and sightseeing. Although a guide is must to trek on the trails but rest of the adventure can be completed by yourself only.

I would suggest everyone to take rest and spot some unknown beautiful locations of Swargarohini, falls right on the way to kedarkanth campsite. And be ready to wake up early in the morning, otherwise you would miss the most beautiful scenary of the site. Above all the feeling of getting to the summit is amazing. I will definately recommend this trip to my fellow mates. Hope to visit the site soon.

It feels amazing to reach your final destination because the view from the summit is awesome. The snow covered mountains catches your attention so if you are planning your next trip for this himalayan adventure then you must carry a camera to capture the real beauty of the nature. While trekking the brown leaves will follow you from all around. Over all it was great adventure.

Sightseeing at some famous point including the Kal Nag point, Ranglana and Bandarpoonch was an exciting adventure for me. Moreover our over night camping in the location presented some of the best opportunity to mingle with other trekkers. We were in a group of fifteen so the trip became even more exciting. In the beginning i was so curious to start my first ever adventure!! Let me tell you about other experiences like at night the scene looks amazing, even the mountains shine in the darkness, it looks as if those mighty himalayan mountains is covered by white blanket, same is the view in morning. The trekking trails are actually covered with brown leaves. Over all it was an experience of a lifetime for me.

This trek is not just about the trek. The drive around this trek is merely the best that is of a high class. The drive to Kedar kantha made me go through Mussoorie, Purola, Nowgaon, Mori and even Naitwar. This route is so remote route that is not just so exquisite, but very ancient too. This is ?is one of the most lovely and awesome drives in the Indian Himalayas. However, high caution is required for trekkers as well as the ones who drive in this area. This can be really tricky and complex tour totally. Try and see it.

It was a nice trek. It has best drivable roads, it has best camp sites, it is exciting, it is inexpensive. In short, the experience was quite exciting and interesting. The trick is to be really good in driving and being cautious. Otherwise one may be prone to accidents.
