Bhrigu Lake Trek is something that can be taken either over a weekend or over 4-5 days. We opted to take this trek over a weekend as it was a summer trek for us. It was interesting to take it. The Bhrigu Lake Trek is one of the very few worthy lake treks available in our country. It was quite an interesting and a marvellous trek to take. We had a great time.

Unlike all the other treks, this one is a special one for me. Really a most delighting trek for trekkers like me who do not have much experience in trekking. Within the two days, I had enough of thrill and excitement with the other people trekking in the group. The organizers did a good job by arranging everything properly and getting time for almost every member in the group.

The best adventure thing to do in Manali within a break of 2 days is none but the Bhrigu Lake trek. Trust me, no other treks in this region can beat this trek. Just 2 days, easy climbs and descends, and you are done.

My four days trek to Bhirgu Lake with all friends was simply great, it was my first time and i did not find any difficulty while trekking , seems perfect for beginners like me planning to have a trekking experience.

I did not find this trek challenging, i am an avid trekker but what i liked about it was that the entire trail is very safe an you will get nice dhabas and restaurants nearby offering really delicious food.

The place is very beautiful, me and my wife had a great time after ages, it is peaceful and pollution free, away from the crowdy metro life, we are planning such trips again, the campting was like doing something really new.

The moderate trekking , awesome views and cooler climate will make your every moments exciting, trekking on easy trekking lets enjoy rather than doing hardships to climb or jump and perhaps that is why we enjoyed there.

All I wonder about this trek, who and how discovered this trek! Really an amazing experience and that too within only two days...wow! Even so short, it offered the best of the Himalayan experience to our group. Simply loved it.

I was positively frustated there, i did not get any mobile signals there , so almost i was detached with my digital world but except that i enjoyed the entire trekking process.

Wao it was an awesome trekking expedition with my family, though short holiday type buy enjoyable. The trails are easy and camping can be done in Pandu Ropa and Rola Kholi. There are large green feilds which gets covered with snow in winters.This lake actually lies between two mountainous peaks near Rohtaang pass. The kullu valley is home to beautiful old village and natures beauty. In this trip you will also see the apple orchads, finally trek ends in vashist.

We had a great trip to bhrigu lake and the presence of friends made it even more memorable. Journey begins from Manali and this lake falls between Manali to Rohtaang pass, about 14 kilometers from gulaba. And gulaba is readched after crossing palchan, kothi and kolang. Trekking suits everyone since it is easy and short trek, sight seeing is the biggest merit of the trip. The green grounds are available too for your camping needs. While reaching Bhrigu lake trek you will encounter many dhabas. over all it was a fantastic option.

It was a fantastic trekking experience... we enjoyed to our fullest. The bhrigu lake has many religious importance also and the blu color lake looks so beautiful. Talking about trekking then it is best suited for beginners and family trekking can also be considered here. The Rohtang pass is near the lake moreover you can also spot other glacial lake in the kullu valley. Trekking on such high peaks feels like an acheivement, it is almost 12000 feet . The half snow covered peaks seems perfect for the adventure. we had set up our camps on flat grounds of rola kholi. Each morning we saw the best sunrise ever. so overall it was just awesome.

it is a short 3-4 days trekking on the beautiful mountainous trails of the himalays. It is just awesome to see the beautiful blue color lake in sunny day, it shines like pearls. Even the mountains looks awesome as if have wore a snow monkey cap... you can spot these snow covered peaks on the second day of trekking. in winters the top surface of the lake frozes and looks like small patches of islands of snow. The lake is of oval shape and its very large. Rola kholi campinv turn outs to be a perfect campsite.

Bhrigu was a saint and according to hindu mythology he was among the saptrishis, and this lake has certain connections with him. Bhrigu lake isa much favoured tourists destination. Trekkers love this site since the trekking trails are quite favourable. It was agreat opportunity for us that we visited this bhrigu lake as our summer holiday. The three days visit became memorable. Sightseeing, camping and trekking was all excellent.

Trekking in bhrigu lake is an exciting journey, you can experience almost beautiful things in the journey. in this trip you can expect beautiful views of valley, the blue lake, dense forest cover of oak and cedar trees, small rivulets, long green feilds and a hot water spring in the end. As far as trekkking is concerned, at some points it becomes ao easy to trek but aome points starts getting steeper. Moreover Bhrigu has hindu mythological importance as well that makes it even more especial.

We had started our journey from manali hotel, and from there we were picked up for gulaba. The bhrigu lake is around 14 kilometers distance, trekking trails are okay but after twenty minutes of trekking we got steeper trails where moving forward was little bit tough. on reaching Rola khila we decided to set up our camps, because the grounds were flat and used for grazing animals by local shepherds. At rola kholi there are enough facilities of water so camping is not the problem here. Talking about the bhrigu lake then the scenic beauty of the small blue sea will leave you astonished, it is so beautiful.

Once it was the lake of gods because the hindu mythology says that it was the meditating point of rishi bhrigu in vedic age and gods from heaven come here to take bath. The lake looks stunning in sunny days whereas in winters it has a top snow covered layers. Trekking started from gulaba, which was not that difficult. It has been covered with dense forests of oak, fir, cedar, spruce and morn. The trek was easily completed in the given number of days. Even the trails are quite good. The best part is the serene priceless views one gets over here.

Bhrigu Lake trek gives an awesome opportunity to discover the real beauty of himachal Pradesh. situated amid of two mountain ridges, the trekking can be done on both of them . The bhrigu lake looks pleasing and you can spend more time on its bank. on climbing the peak you can also spot other mountainous ranges like Deo Tibba, Hunuman Tibba, and also the pir panjal and dhauladhar ranges. so as a whole this lake offers the views of all popular trekking destination. Also the kolang valley is quite near to the kullu valley and if you have time you can go there too.

Although Bhrigu lake trek is a short trek but once you get there you will have plenty of options extend your trip further because bhrigu point is like a a junction to many other trekking trails. from this point you can go to vashist valley, kolang valley trek or beas kund trek too. And since it is quite near to manali so you also have the option to go there. As a location Bhrighu lake is an awesome site located at quite an high altitude of 4235 metres. The camping grounds are also nice there. overall it is a great destination.

Wao what a trekking it was.. just incredible. Starting from manali and going all the way via kullu valley we reached gulaba and from there we reached the bhrigu lake. it was a great trip. The best about the journey was the views of mt hanuman tibba and the seven sisters peaks in the background. this beautiful lake is situated at the junction of two mighty mountains. This bhrigu lake gets its name from the hindu saint bhrighu qhol also wrote a sacred book called bhrighu samanth. Perfect and holiday point for beginners and professional trekkers.

Guys to be frank bhrigu lake is exceptionally beautiful and suits for family holiday as well, but if you are an avid trekker and expecting something thrilling then stop, its not for you... it is more like a sightseeing point. and yes for trekking you can consider the two ridges beside the lake which opens up,in different valleys like kolang and vashisst valley. The bhrigu lake is exceptionally gorgeous and one should click selfies and photos there. overnight camping can be exciting too, there are facilities of everything . Just forget everything and enjoy your stay at the gift of nature.

Bhrigu lake trek offers the perfect trekking point for all beginners, with easy trails and camping facilities in areas of Rola Kholi . The sightseeing is memorable since during the winter trek you can see forests of oak and cedar, apple orchards, blue lake and the lovely small rivulets. The kullu valley looks awesome, moreover a further trek will get you in kolang valley there is a long rivulet called kolang nallah. overall it is an awesome treking destination.
