cycling tour from Indore many things are important to keep in mind before going to any trip. Don't go alone if you are a novice to bike tours. Always go in a group so that they can guide you about the route and camping.

Ecotel Cottage pachmarhi stayed here with group of eight people for 3 days. Rooms and service are between good and okay. Hot water problems sometimes. Food is good. Better than outside restaurant at least. Well maintained cottage. Staff is polite. Little costly than other hotels but view and atmosphere is best.

A nice place to visit but should be mentally prepared for trekking if going with the family. The first week of Oct is always preferred as there is a lot of discounts available like free entry, no camera charges, discounts on hotels, etc. "Environment week celebration" is there in the first week. Nice opportunity for Para Sailing at throwaway prices!!!. Always take a pair of extra shoes.

We were there in early March, the weather was not too hot, it even rained one morning. Yet we managed to sight 6 tigers in 3 days including the famous Collarwali tigress and 3 of her sub-adult cubs on the last day. Guides were knowledgable, and jeep rides were long. Plenty of dust during the jeep rides, protect your expensive camera equipment from the dust.

It's a very good place to visit if you have two days' time you can visit all three attractions around Indore i.e Omkareshwar, Maheshwar and Mandu.

A mesmerizing place of worship and is one of the Jyotirlinga of Shiva. The place is crowded with people from all over India and is a must-visit for Hindus. The temple is maintained well.

The temple is really nice and beautiful. The carvings in the temple are really beautiful. You can hire a guide when you are here. It would be easy to see the temple with intricacy.

Though we did not see the majestic tiger during our visit, it was a beautiful trip. It is perhaps one of the few forests where the core area is growing and the buffer zone is expanding. That by itself is a reward for a nature lover. We enjoyed our visit to Kanha and looking forward to visiting it again to pay our respects to his Majesty.

This is one of 3 parks in central India we visited and was the busiest, so we found sometimes we were in long queues of jeeps to get to outlying parts of the park, or to get back as it was closing. it's a shame that Sunset's point is no longer open. Although the open plains are very beautiful we found we saw less wildlife here - but of course, this is largely luck on the day. We did see many birds and of course deer and monkeys, and one exciting view of a sloth bear. Others in our lodge had an excellent tiger sighting

The excellent reserve forest has a core area of about 1000 sq km. Well maintained and organized. You can book Jeep Safari online about 4 months before.

Kanha has a diverse landscape from thick forests to wetlands & open plains so you see a great variety of animals including Tigers. We were lucky to see a Tigress, on our 4th game drive in Kanha she was magnificent crossed the road in front of us & then walked passed at a distance of about 3 metres.

Wonderfully organized routes inside the forest for van/jeep safaris, local guides accompanying us from the Forest Dept are also very sound in their knowledge of the forest and trails and likelihood of spotting the elusive jungle residents. They are also quite strict in how the tourists behave and conduct themselves inside the core and buffer forest area. Very good facilities including restrooms and dining areas inside the forest trek areas too for having your refreshments in select earmarked locations.

Very scenic park with plenty of wildlife and opportunities for good tiger sightings. The park guides are very good. The scenery is excellent. Well worth a few days.

Only 80 tigers in the national park but we saw 6 which was unusual. I stayed at the Tree House Hideaway and had a wonderful guide.
