About the tour:

Darbhanga is a place known for its cultural traditions in music and it is home to the well-known Darbhanga tradition of Dhrupad singing. Most of the famous singers of this ancient classical tradition now stay in the bigger Indian cities and it is not much you can do to explore this heritage.

Darbhanga, one of the major cities of north Bihar, was once renowned as a cultural and educational centre. Today, it comprises the twin towns of Darbhanga and Laheriasarai, the seat of the district administration. Darbhanga is also known for its mangoes, especially the Malda variety. It is said that Mughal emperor Akbar planted around 40,000 mango trees in Darbhanga, and this started a tradition of mango plantation here.

The starting point of the tour is Patna, which is easily accessible by air, rail, and road.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Darbhanga; Witness the majestic royality
Leave from Patna to Darbhanga early morning, the journey is of 3 hours (140 km)
Check-in to your hotel and have your breakfast
After breakfast leave for the Royal Tour - the places you will be covering today are Darbhanga Raj, Shyama Temple, Manokamna Mandir, and Chandradhari Singh Museum
Later have a blissful lunch at a local restaurant
Post lunch its time to visit Maharaja Lakshmishwar Singh Museum, Ahilya Sthan, and Kusheshwar Sthan
After sightseeing return to the hotel

Day 2 - Departure for Patna

However if some services are not operational due to government guidelines, thrillophilia reserves the right to replace it with other activity.

Children above 8 years of age will be considered as adults only.

There are no charges for children below 8 years of age. Extra Bed would be charged on actuals.

All entry tickets for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees, monument entrances, camera charges, etc. are not a part of the package.

Any personal expenses or items of personal nature will not be included in the package.

Any meals or transfers not mentioned in the itinerary are to be considered an exclusion in the deal.

ID proof is mandatory for each guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.

All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details before their stay.

Any breakage or damage of any items in the Hotel/Resort will be charged at actuals.

The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.

Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

Refund Policy

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days

Booking Confirmation Policy

The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking

In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.

Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking before confirmation and a full refund will be processed.
