The cable car in Kasauli is one of the most popular attractions among tourists who visit Kasauli. It is a beautiful and serene location, located a little out of the bounds of the main town center, but not far enough away to be inaccessible.

Covering a distance of about 1.8 kilometres in 10 minutes, this journey takes a rather scenic route through the mountains. Being suspended in mid-air, on a seemingly flimsy cable, gives you a feeling of being no less adventurous that those going skydiving. Whizzing past the meandering mountain roads is a thrilling experience in its right, with the surrounding hills only adding to the rush.

The snow-topped mountains seem close enough to touch, enough as the pine trees almost brush the sides of your cable car, making this a must-do activity in Kasauli. You can see the entire town of Kasauli spread beneath your feet as you make the journey.

How To reach: 

It is located at about 35 km from Kasauli bus stand and you can reach here by either taking public transport or by hiring a private cab.
