What is Har ki Dun Trek Distance?
The distance of the Har ki Dun trek is around 63 kilometers, starting from Sankri to Har ki Dun and back. In general, the hikers cover the entire distance of the trek in 6 days, trekking a maximum length of just 10 kilometers each day. Throughout the length of the Har ki Dun trek, the trekkers walk along moderate trails and fairly lenient terrains.
The entire trek is packed with mesmerizing scenic views of lush meadows, dense forests, beautiful orchids, and unique rhododendrons, almost all through the year. If a trekker is lucky enough, he/she can also get an opportunity to catch a glimpse of some Himalayan animals including Snow Leopards, Barking Deer, and Bores.

Route of the Har ki Dun Trek
The route of the Har ki Dun trek starts from Sankri and covers important spots like Taluka, Osla, Har ki Dun Pass, and Jaundhar Glacier to finally end at the spot from where it began.
From Sankri to Osla through Taluka, it is a 14 kilometers long trek. The following trek from Osla to Har ki Dun is around 11 kilometers long while the next trek from Har ki Dun to Jaundhar Glacier and back is about 15 kilometers in length. The distance of the trek from Har ki Dun campsite to Osla is approximately 11 kilometers while the final trek from Osla to Sankri through Taluka is about 12 kilometers long.
