Most of the dhabas and tea stalls on the trek usually remain closed during the month of February, making availability of food a difficult task. Furthermore, the Forest Guest House at Triund also remains closed at this time. As there isn’t good availability of camping options, the trekkers visiting Triund trek in February need to arrange their camp requirements themselves.

Hiking the Triund trek in February can be very exhausting. Hence, it is suggested for the hikers to practice climbing stairs with a weight of 4kg on the shoulders, at least 4 weeks before their real trekking in Triund trek.
Since the dhabas and tea shacks mostly remain shut during February, getting food and water can be a problem.
