How to go from Chandigarh to Triund Trek?
There are three ways to go from Chandigarh to Triund Trek - bus, car, or train. The fastest way to reach the trek from Chandigarh is by driving, but the cheapest way to arrive at the destination from the state is by taking a train. That said, taking a bus from your location to the trek can also be budget-friendly as well as convenient.
In order to reach Triund, the travelers from Chandigarh need to reach McleodGanj, which is considered to be the base camp of the trek. McleodGanj is located at an approximate distance of 240.6 kilometers from Chandigarh and can be reached within 7 hours by bus, car, or train. From McleodGanj to Triund, it is a small distance of around 9 kilometers, which can be covered by trekking.
Traveling to McleodGanj from Chandigarh by Bus
There are a number of regular and direct bus services between Chandigarh and McleodGanj, which help to travel to the destination by roadways convenient and affordable. Around 11 buses leave for McLeodGanj from Chandigarh every day.
