Sunrise Beach, Ko Lipe, Chon Buri

  • Sunrise beach or Hat Chao Ley as the locals call it,is a 2km stretch of white sandy, beautiful beach located along the west side of Koh Lipe with some of the most amazing sunrises in all of Thailand. Sunrise beach is the beach nearest to the small Chao Ley village on Koh Lipe. Be sure to wake up early so you don't miss the exquisite sunrise that happens every single morning, it's a fantastic way to start your day.



    Things to do: Sunrise beach is the best location on Koh Lipe for snorkeling right off of the beach; You'll be sure to find all types of aquatic life that will take your breath away.

    Best Time: Like all of Thailand, Sunrise Beach is much less visited in the low season (May-October), but once high season rolls around (November-April) you'll be sure to find plenty of foreigners and like-
    minded people

    Getting There: 
    You can get to Koh Lipe from Pak Barra Pier on Speedboats.

Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden

Nong Nooch Garden is a beautifully landscaped park and can easily make for an all-day trip. The entire area is more like a theme park, with daily cultural shows, restaurants and accommodation as well as a vast area showcasing individually themed gardens. A leisurely stroll through the botanical park is like taking a journey around the world, through its many famous gardens, whether 17th-century French garden, Stonehenge, or European Renaissance garden.



Highlights: An interesting feature is the skywalk; a shaded 1.1km elevated walkway that takes you through various gardens. Apart from the botanical park, Nong Nooch Garden features daily shows at the Thai Cultural Hall. Other activities include paddle boats, elephant rides and cycling.

Jomtien Beach

With a 6 km stretch of sand, Jomtien beach is a perfect place to find some quiet time from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya in Thailand. You can spend a leisurely day on the sandy shores of the beach or indulge in the various activities provided near the beach. If you do not love relaxing on the beach, there are myriad of things to indulge in.  Either you can carve your hunger in some of the finest restaurants in the area or you can have a peaceful walk in the renowned botanical gardens.

Getting There
: This beach is only 9.6 km from Pattaya. The visitors can take direct buses from the city to the beach.

Sriracha Tiger Zoo

If you are an animal lover then this vacation, visiting sriracha tiger zoo, pattaya could be the best thing you could ever do to make your holidays exciting and wonderful. This zoo is known to have the largest number of Bengal tigers along with other several animals like ostriches, crocodiles, camels, kangaroos, as well as many exotic birds.

Wat Phra Yai Temple

On the very top of Pratumnak Hill, between Pattaya and Jomtien Beach, you can’t fail to notice an enormous 18 metre tall Buddha popping up through the trees. This temple was built in the 1940s when
Pattaya was nothing more than a fishing village. The Big Buddha is extremely popular with tour groups who love to see the intricate design of the statue and the temple complex, but it is also revered by local people who come to pray at the temple. Entry to the temple is free of cost.



Highlights
:  At the top of the hill you can take pictures near the many Buddha figures in different postures, which are representative of different days of the week. Before you get to the top of the hill
your eye will catch hoards of vendors selling caged birds, a symbol in Thailand where you have set them free and gain good Karma.
