Day 1
Journey from Bulawayo to Matobo National Park
  • Welcome to Bulawayo International Airport! Your journey to Matobo National Park - the main destination for day 1 starts from the airport. The drive takes you through the stunning city of Bulawayo. 
  • Meet the guide, settle yourselves well at Maleme lodges inside the national park and pump up to go watching the rhinos! 
  • Look forward to a relaxed evening around fire to keep you warm with tasty, healthy meals and drinks to keep the spirit high.
Day 2
Explore Matobo National Park
  • On day 2 inside the national park, with sunrise begins the adventure. This day of the Zimbabwe safari package from India is full of discoveries inside Matobo National Park, the vicinity of which is popular to house the highest densities of leopard populations in the whole of Zimbabwe. 
  • The day really motivates all to spot the stunning big cat. Along with them, the giant rhinos mark their territory here. Spotting them is fun and relatively easy! 
  • Way back to the stay property comes with a pitstop at the grave of Cecil John Rhodes - a man well known for his discoveries of the wilderness across whole of South Africa and Zimbabwe. The evening further has traditional sun-downers before a delicious meal.
Day 3
Scenic journey from Matobo to Hwange National Park
  • After a healthy breakfast, we set to leave for the next destination - Hwange National park, Zimbabwe’s Premiere National Park, a place everybody wants to include on the Zimbabwe Safari Package. 
  • The journey should take about three to four hours to reach the Hwange National Park Main Camp; perhaps, even slightly more if we decide to take longer breaks in between the journey.
  • We expect to reach the main camp site around 3 for lunch and then visit the glorious Nyamandlovu Pan. Here, large groups of elephant spotting is common. 
  • Back to the main camp, an African BBQ meal - a traditional one, alongside a campfire awaits you!
Day 4
Explore life inside Hwange National Park
  • The promising day takes us inside Hwange National Park to explore ‘Kennedy’ - the home for Lions. This is where Cecil the Lion - the legendary lion lived. And this where we have our chances of meeting his former pride or relatives. Hereafter, we spend some time going around the plains, trying our luck with spotting of giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and buffalo; as they go about their regular routines in the natural habitat. 
  • Take a break for lunch, to gain back some energy for the return leg of reaching the main camp for the rest of the evening. We aspire to make this day a rewarding one, with wildlife sightings and exhilarating experiences.
Day 5
Hwange to Victoria Falls
  • Enjoy an easy start to this day with a wholesome breakfast and prepare yourselves to come eye to eye with the glorious natural Wonder of World - The Victoria Falls. 
  • We drive to our destination, the duration for which should be about two and a half hours, and the views enroute and interesting. 
  • On arrival, check in at Wilderness Self Catering Lodge, relax and fill your tummies if need be, not included in your Zimbabwe Safari Package. 
  • The afternoon has a guided walk through the beautiful rainforest, placed at the edge of the gorge with wide views of majestic Victoria Falls. 
  • Find here some fancy curio stands and vendors selling souvenirs worthy of taking for loved ones back home. The return to the stay follows a finger licking dinner.
Day 6
Goodbye time!
  • For a tasty end to the trip, an interesting set of breakfast awaits you. 
  • Check out and prepare yourselves for the day ahead; which depends on your flight timings. 
  • One can hereafter decide to go shopping or just walk around town. This is your time to do something you discover whilst the trip - maybe eat at that cafe that seems interesting. 
  • Once you are ready, transfers to the airport shall be arranged close to your flight hours.
