  • Then proceed to Against the Odds to view an incredible bomber command demonstration, where you can learn more about the striking force's accomplished past.
  • Additionally, this structure holds the No. 77 Squadrons' chambers, where you can discover about the 346 Guyenne and 347 Tunisie French Heavy Bomber Squadrons.
  • You may also watch a variety of short movies at the Astra Cinema in the Against the Odds building.

How to Reach?

  • By Car: Hire a cab and come via Elvington Ln/B1228 route to reach your destination within 15 minutes.
  • By Bus: From Merchantgate take X36 bus and reach at Air Museum Entrance within 16 minutes. Then walk for few minutes to reach your final destination.

Know Before You Go for Yorkshire Air Museum

  • Children aged 3 and below will not be charged, children aged 4-17 will be charged at a child price & individuals aged 18 and above will be charged at an adult price.
  • All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of arrival.
  • ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of arrival.
  • Participants are not allowed to carry any sharp object, lighter, luggage bag, alcohol, knife, etc.
  • The majority of the Museum site is accessible by wheelchair. The principal area where access is not possible is the upper floor of the Control Tower, due to its listed building status and steep staircase.
  • Well behaved dogs are welcome, no need to leave them behind or in the car. Unfortunately they are not allowed in the café.
