I really want to take this trek once again. There might be hundreds of treks, but this one is one of its own kind. The gradual to difficult climb, the mesmerizing feel that exists during the trek and the mysteries of the lake, everything resulted in an everlasting memory in my mind.

The moment I was gazing the world from more than 15,000ft can be hardly described in words. As if the entire world is wearing the white colour and is all prepared to allure you to conquer them. You can hardly wait to complete this trek. Though difficult, it is totally worth. The natural beauty is the add-on of this trek and on reaching the lake, you will never wish to come back for sure. Lovely and purely enthralling trek!

Heard a lot of mysteries about the lake. But on reaching it, the only thing that kept me captivated is its divine beauty. Totally heavenly. I mean, such a gorgeous lake at that height surrounded with snow-white glaciers, evergreen forests and graceful mountains. It is a must for all the trek lovers.

As adventurers, this was a trek we all looked forward to! and man, it was worth it!!! Guys, this place looks amazing and so beautiful! Must visit, surely! Go during October or September, best time as the snow settles in and yet, it is not too cold that you feel like running away to a beach!

8 days of bliss! Booked through Thrillophilia and loved every second that we spent in Roopkund! the lake is definitely mysterious and is eerie in the way only hard core adventure addicts can enjoy! I am from Dehli and we have seen several places similar, but this place is definitely unique in so many ways!

A trek you will not forget easily! We, a group of 6 girls and 4 boys, went for this trek to know what is so great about the lake and we were truly baffled at the amazing beauty of the place! the locals, the guides and the whole experience for that one week was truly amazing. There were times when the trek got slippery or difficult, but it was worth it!

There are holidays, and then there are treks! For the first time in my life, i joined a group of adventurers and headed for this trek to Roopkund and I wrote this review to shout out to all those people who love travelling! This place is simply beautiful! Snow and ice everywhere, but some places are just kissed so gently with snow that you can still see the flecks of green here and there! Please visit this place soon! Its safe and we had a blast!

Worth every penny spent on the trip! Enjoyed our time here and it was not even expensive! got to see many lakes that are half frozen and climbed the heights of the scariest mountains you will see! But, like I said, it was worth it! A week of pure fun and adventure!

This place certainly does not look like from India. the entire trek is amazing...freaky as well. But if you guys are looking for some real adventure, this is one trek you need to go.

I had read numerous blogs on this place and all those articles just tempted me to go on the trek. It is absolutely the way you see in pictures. human skulls, silence... this place should be the next loaction for horror movie. Jokes apart, great trek, amazing guys who were the part of the group and special thanks to our trek guide who made all the trekking easy and did more than his job requirement in comforting some of the international travellers.

Beautiful place! this place is just postcard picture perfect. The trek is not that difficult - one suggestion instead of focusing on the completion of trek - enjoy the amazing snowy hills and clear sky. Lovely experience!

Mysteries have always intrigued me, and a visit to Roopkund made that even better! The lake is calm with a silence that can send chills down your spine and the tour guides assisted us through the hwole trek with ease! Spent 8 days of harmony here and loved every second!

8 days of an amazing, adrenaline induced trek! There were so many things to do and see on this trek that we had lost count of the days we spent here. Our group of 5 mountaineers had a blast here. We trekked around 6000m of snow, forests and rugged terrains and ensured that we had one of the most memorable times of our life here!

Our tour guide was simply superb. He was with us at all times and made sure we were taken care of at every step. There were pit stops in between the treks to catch our breath and we got to see the snow melting in front of us. So beautiful!

The lake is indeed beautiful and mysterious. Roopkund Lake has always been on my bucket list and it finally became a reality! The trek is not too harsh and you just need to make sure you are well equipped with the gear for the trek.

This 8 day trek was a true revelation for us all as we sawe thick oak forests and beautiful flower laden thickets everywhere around us. The snow was barely touching the trees and it looked so pretty as a picture. Will visit again.

Himalayan oak forests and skies as mysterious as the lake we visited. It was truly an amazing experience and we fell in love with this beautiful place. There were thick and lush forests welcoming us everywhere and we enjoyed our trek to Roopkund Lake all the way!

Something I will never forget, we actually saw skeletons of age old lying at the bottom of the lake, as we went trekking in June when the snow melted. It was a pretty scary yet fascinating sight. Other than this, the trek showed us some of the most beautiful forests you can see in India.

Roopkund is soo beautiful - tiny villages that you pass on way are just like a movie set. I simply loved this experience. You get to know so much its not just about trekking but I met so many people, lovely pictures and bucketful of memories. In love with the entire experience.

An intriguing trek for all of us indeed. We had an exceptional experience here with all our adventure addicts and it was truly awesome. The Lake is half frozen but the water is clear enough for us to see a lot. Worth it.

What I liked the most about this trek is the variation in the terrains. At diffferent places, it offers totally different experience. Moreover, this is one of the treks that offered me fascinating views of Kanchenjunga, Mt Everest, Lhotse and Makalu peaks on the same go. Once, I was at the peak, I felt hyptonised by the beauty around. In this region, it is indeed the best treks to take.
