Family Trip of 2026! Traveling from Ahmedabad with kids was risky in Jan, but Sales se Karan ne sab set kar diya tha. Hamare hotel mein Heater tha, toh bache bimar nahi pade. Humne Betaab Valley mein sledging ki—bachon ko bohot maza aaya. Humne raste mein humein Kashmiri Kahwa pilaya, jo Amdavad ki chai se bhi zyada sukoon de raha tha.

I booked my package with Thrillophilia(recommended by a relative) for me and my gang of 5 other mates for 7 days and 6 nights and had an amazing experience given the pocket-friendly budget. We received a hearty welcome at the Katra station by the driver and there was a hassle free check-in to the cosy and comfortable rooms. They made sure to sanitise the rooms in front of us again so that we were assured and we were pretty impressed by the hygiene standards they maintained. We had a filling breakfast and proceeded to visit Vaishno Devi along with the driver who was very cordial and informative and made sure we missed nothing which was experience-worthy and again Thrillophilia is to be thanked here. We had an amazing darshan and had a late night dinner at our hotels. The next morning after a delectable breakfast we were taken to Pahalgam in a comfy SUV with a driver-cum-guide and this person made the journey tireless with his humour. We visited the apple orchids, saffron fields and a bat manufacturing factory before checking-in and then proceeded with our sight seeing and it was one memorable ride on the ponies, which is to be cherished forever. On day-3 we visited Sonmarg and hiked to the Thajiwas Glacier which was a sight to behold and stopped at a few temples on the way as well. On the fourth day we were taken to Gulmarg and believe me when I say that the Gondola Cable car ride was a once in a lifetime kind of experience. On the fifth and sixth day we went on Shikara rides and visited the serene Mughal Gardens and did a lot of sight-seeing as well before heading back home. My Overall experience was a really comfortable, safe and hassle-free one and I have Thrillophilia to thank for it. I highly recommend Thrillophilia to everyone looking for a wonderful tour.

I booked the Vaishno Devi Tour with Thrillophilia and I must say, it satisfied me beyond limits. After arrival at the Jammu Airport, a driver cum guide greeted me and took me to Katra. The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and also well-mannered. On the first day, I visited the Vaishno Devi shrine and enjoyed the calmness and traditional display there. The next few days were to enjoy the beauty of Kashmir in areas like Pahalgam, Sonamarg, Gulmarg, Katra and Srinagar. Visiting these places was a true delight and left me mesmerized. We had fun on Gondola, Shikara, and snow and were spellbound with natural beauty spread all around. The trip was beautifully curated and made me recommend Thrillophilia to all!

Mata Vaishno is of huge importance to everyone in India and me and my mom always wanted to visit there. SO finally this year we went on a 7 day 6 trip that started from Katra Jammu, reached the temple for darshan and came back to our hotel in Jammu. The next day we went to Pahalgam from Katra. We had a great time riding a pony at Baisaran valley, visiting Narang and Khir Bhiwani temples. I really want to thank Sahil from the Thrillophilia for curating best itinerary that comprises the best of everything. In just seven days I could finish sightseeing in Srinagar, enjoy winter adventures in Gulmarg and awaken my spiritual self.

If you think you will not be able to make it to the cave walking down the road, then you can ask for a helicopter ride or palanquin ride at the registration counter.
You will be provided with food, water, and a blanket free of cost, so it is suggested to leave unnecessary items at the base camp.
Kindly wait for the announcement of your group number for the darshan. It is at all times suggested to be attentive or else you may miss the announcement.
You should completely clean yourself as well as your clothes before the Darshan.
You can use the cloak room to keep your valuables during the Darshan.
It should make sure that you are appropriately dressed up.
You should not carry any kind of electronic items into the cave like video camera mobiles, and any similar items.
You should avoid resting on the landslide prone areas while climbing up and down. You should always take rest in designated places only.

How and where can I hire ponies and palkies ?

For hiring the registered Ponies, Pithoos or Palkies a yatri is required to contact the contractors offices at Bhawan / Adhkwari / Katra. The rates for these Palkies / Pithoos / Ponies are approved by the Govt. and for convenience the same can be cross checked from the Signboards installed by the Board along the track at prominent locations. Before engaging these Ponies, Palkies or Pithoos a devotee is required to note down the registration no. of the person(s) so engaged for reference in case of need. In case of any problem with the Contractors Office, the field offices of the Shrine Board can also be contacted at the above locations.

Is it safe to travel to Kashmir?

Yes, travelling to Kashmir is absolutely safe. However, don’t be shocked by the abundance of military checkpoints, tanks on the side of the road, military trucks and heavy armed soldiers roaming down the streets.
