The panaromic views of leh catches our attention. We were not only the single group who had gone for the adventure, there were many other groups too. We had started our journey from manali but i realized this location has some more beautiful points than manali.

Overview

Tsarap chu trekking camp is situated in Ladakh tour. Following the Tsarao Chu experience a world that is intact, peaceful, and almost everlasting. The campsite of this trek is bounded with its wonderful flora and fauna.

Tsarap River carries glacial affluents from the Rupshu plateau and runs for a few kms along the Manali Leh highway north of the Baralacha Pass before taking a tortuous course through the mountains flowing in the north-west direction.

The Ladakh trekking camp 'Following the Tsarap Chu' is arranged to Tsarap, Ladakh travel. It joins the Kargiakh flowing from Shingo-La to form Lugnak. Very little is known about the trail along the Tsarap which at many places has to be crossed on rope bridges. The trek ends at Karsha outside Padum, the heart of Zanskar. The Tsarap or Tsarap Chu is a river of Jammu and Kashmir in northern India. It flows through the Zanskar region of the state of Ladakh. The river joins with the Doda River to form the larger Zanskar River.

Our journey will commence from New Delhi to Leh. While touring, we will get an opportunity of sightseeing at Leh. From here we will trek to Hemis, where there will be a village. There after we will move to Tikse and Hemis Gompas. We will get an opportunity to stay in camps at Kongmaru La, Kang Yatze Peak. There after we will pass through Sokra, Kharnak. We will explore the villages like, Gelugpa Gompa at Dat. We will pass the river called Zara Chu. Thereafter we will move on to our last destination Darcha by jeep.

Discovering the unseen views was a completely new feeling. camping was more exciting than trekking and i enjoyed it badly. Missing our bonfire dinner along with my friends.
